Almost $87 Billion of our taxes to Israel

The Washington Report on the Middle East website has a feature on its website that says it all about the US guns before butter budget: An up-to-the-second calculator of US tax dollars spent on Israel.

At this writing, the dollars spent on Israel's murder o the Palestinians consists of $86,928,594,360. The last three digits change at the blink of an eye, the spending is so large. Generally, we spend $4 billion annually above the table and $4 billion annually below the table to the US military base called Israel to protect US oil profits in the Middle East. That means the genocide of the Palestinian people and the theft of Palestinian land which began way back in 1948 and continues to this day. What is going on in the Occupied Terroritories is exactly the same as what took place in 1948 with the massacre of Deir Yassin and the expulsion of 800,000 Palestinians from their homes to set up the racist, theocratic, militaristic, anti-women, anti-gay, anti-science, anti-labor fascist thug gang called the Zionist State of Israel, a miserable hellhole of 4 million people.

The clock is now at $86,928,610,000 and counting.

That's the end-of-the-year political and economic reality of the US and Israeli budget and is why we are all so poor, both in the US and in Israel. We cannot have both guns and butter.
