San Franciscan Mans Holds Vigil at Woman's Vigil & Fast For Peace in WDC 1dec2

Sunday, 1dec2, marked the 2nd week anniversary of the Woman's Vigil and Fast for Peace in Lafayette Park across from the White House in WDC. While a Missourian man and two women walked a Somber but Silent March in a circular motion in front of the White House a San Franciscan man held vigil in the park greeting passers-by and handed out information.

This man whom I first met on Thanksgiving Day at the Woman's Vigil said that he was from Missouri. Just as I arrived at 1:30p on 1dec2 he and and two women began their 'Silent and Somber' Walk in front of the White House while a group called 'Drums For Peace' chanted and pounded on drums 'calling out' to George Bush to 'not go to war on Iraq. The Missourian is carrying a sign that reads "September Eleventh Families for Peaceful Tomorrows"
