Veggie Oil Powered – Radical Book Mobile for Sonoma County
The Free Mind Media Guild on sonoma county is a dedicated group of 15-20 people working to create a community space and an info shop to make publications available in our county. After many months of unsucessful searching for a space to open up the spAce. We've gone for the gusto by turning a veggie-oil powered van into a book mobile for the North Bay area. We hope that this will snowball and lead to the opening of a full-scale book store/info shop/independent media center in Santa Rosa. The Book mobile project has really taken off with materials and donations coming in from a variety of sources. Solution based information including permaculture; alternative fuels and political activism are some of the topics of interest that can be found in the Book Mobile. Things we need:
books(new and used),
zines,
a commercial space,
video and audio equiptment, and any other things you think would be useful :)
