What exactly are we looking at? The first part shows a terrorist resisting arrest and attacking soldiers. The second part shows him being shot, probably because he pulled out a weapon (you can't see his hands in the video).

The quality is lacking, not so good frame rate, much skipping.
It appears a man was shot. I can't say for sure, but I do use a video card, so the video itself appears to be flawed enough to leave room for doubts. Being critical is probably the safest bet, but, you can also safely bet some israeli soldiers have a growing hatred towards the palestinians(enough to gun an unarmed person down). Likewise from the palestinian perspective. The only thing I question is, if I was one of those soldiers, would I have not noticed, or cared about the camera? Did the situation really look so out of control, that he would have not been able to make a rational decision, especially IF he saw a camera was on the scene? Staged? Actual war footage? I don't know, it looks sketchy at best to me.

BUT, I certainly don't think israel is being in any way responsible for it's military actions. For example, if this tape is actual footage, then how much more irresponsible can you get than allowing yourself to be filmed shooting someone? There is a double standard in this area, terror is coming from both sides.

I dont know what the others say but their charter does not say "we will stop when we get an agreement that the PLO likes."

The over 300 "children" were mostly teenagers out throwing molotov cocktails at soldiers because their parents don't care enough about them to keep them off the streets and out of a war zone. That's why they encourage their kids to become suicide bombers. As a parent, until my kid turns 18 there is NO WAY I would let her be in harm's way. I do everything in my power to keep her safe and secure, because that is my reponsibilty as a parent. It shocks me that Palestinian children are so often videiotaped participating in demonstations alongside their parents- do their parents care about them at all, or do they just see them as political pawns?

Resisting arrest is pretty dumb, especially when you have 2 soldiers with M16s pointing them at your ass. Plus, getting hit with a boulder like the soldier got hit is not as painless as you think. Plus the Palestinian was shot in the legs, he was not murdered in cold blood. If they shot him, they had a reason, because the rules of engagement are very strict in the ISraeli Army.

As a matter-of-fact, I purposefully live in an incoveniently located area for the sole reason that it is safer than other, more accessable areas. Being a parent means making sacrafices. And believe me, if I had to decide between sending my child to a school in harm's way and teaching them at home, I'd choose the latter (and the majority of Palestinian mothers do not work).

I know a lot of bad things are going on on both sides.
I am disappointed when I see people taking sides from the safety of their computer desk thousands of miles away. Both sides have to work out how to live together.

The evidence doesn't look real to me. Sorry in advance, since I believe my opinion may offend a lot of people who have pre-judged this evidence for themselves. There were a lot of recognisable sounds in the video, but at the moment of the 'shooting' there was nothing like the sound an unsilenced m16 makes. But then again, I am no expert, I'm just not convinced by this. If reading my opinion makes you angry, then please learn what the jury system is all about, you will be a much better citizen for it.

If you think the evidence is real, don't just sit there and whine, take it to your representative and ask if he can make your country question Israel about it. The soldiers look recognisable from the video, and, assuming they actually are Israeli soldiers, Israeli military justice should be exacted if they have committed a crime.

No offense to those of you who are HUNGERING to condemn israel every chance you even think you've gotten, but I watched that, and say that we have no way of knowing (1) whether it's real or fake, (2) whether those are israeli soldiers or palestinians wearing the outfits, (3) what that guy did when the you can't see what he's doing while his back is turned to the camera, (4) whether he's even palestinian.

We have no idea of knowing where this takes place, or who any of the people in the video are.
