Arab groups blast Irish hotelier's boycott of Saudis.
By Al-Kar STAFF
Arab groups have blasted an Irish hotelier who refused to host a group of Saudis because he opposes Saudi Arabia's policies of supporting terrorism and denying respect to non-muslims, women, and homosexuals.
Saudi tourist group leader Mohammed Al-Hakar tried make a reservation with Killarney Lakeland Cottages in Muckross, Ireland, but the cottage's owner, Brian O'Shea, told Bender that his request was denied. "We are sorry, but we are not accepting bookings from Saudi citizens due to the treatment of non Musims, women, homosexuals by the Saudi government," the e-mail stated. "We realize and abhor prejudice also but feel that Saudi Arabia's policy is unwise, unhelpful, and counterproductive."
Al-Hakar told Al-Kar was shocked by the refusal and
he was alarmed over the dark clouds of Islamophobia spreading across Europe.
In a letter to Irish Ambassador Patrick Hennessy on Wednesday, the Saudi Ambassador Mohammad Al-Sakani expressed the center's outrage at this blatant discrimination and called upon the ambassador to address the incident.

Sounds like this was posted by a Saudi with a twisted agenda. The story, as it appears on MANY websites and in Phyllis Chester's book "The New Anti-Semitism", was actually about ISRAELI'S being denied accommodation based on Israel's policy towards Palestinians. But the fool who posted the edited version here forgot to change all the names: "Bender" was the Israeli journalist who was the victim here, not a phantom Saudi. Not the first time, nor I fear the last, when a militant Muslim has been caught faking reports!
