Feinstein Votes For War: She Hasnt Sunk This Low Since She Allowed White To Kill Milk
California Dianne Feinstein voted early this morning to support a war in Iraq. Earlier she mentioned she would not vote for war but I guess you cant put anything beneith Feinstein. Remember how she became mayor of San Francisco?
When Feinstein voted for mass murder this morning it wasnt the first time she used murder to get ahead in politics. Her friend and protege Dan White not only killed mayor Moscone and supervisor Harvey Milk, but after killing Moscone he WALKED BY Feinstein with his gun drawn on the way to Milk's office. With Moscone dead Feinstein became one of SF's more conservative mayors. What does she hope to gain by her new bargain with the devil?

Both of New York's Senators Hillary Clinton and Charles (and both are Democrats), Joe Lieberman (a Democrat & Al Gore's running mate in 2000) and John Kerry are also notable for having voted for war. Hillary Clinton and John Kerry were considered possible presidential candidates in 2004. Now that is no longer possible.
Dianne Feinstein will be 74 in 2007 when her current term ends. She is obviously not running for anything. We Californians need to build a large enough peace and labor movement who is not a Democrat-Republican to be able to elect a senator to replace her in the 2006 election. That is just as important and exciting a goal as the movement itself that we are building.
Our movement now, before the resolution was passed and the invasion of Iraq started, succeeded in having almost 1/3 of the House and almost 1/4 of the Senate in voting No. That is extraordinary. The Gulf of Tonkin resolution, the contrived excuse for the Vietnam War of August 7,1964, was not opposed by anyone in the House (414-0) and in the Senate, there were only 2 who voted No: Senator Ernst Gruening of Alaska and Senator Wayne Morse of Oregon.
Our movement today is bigger than ever, and this time, we will put an end to any support for war by the US government.

That's a foolish hope, but I do have one question.
Of the members of the Senate who did not vote in favor, how many of them are up for re-election and who are they?

The title of this article, when I saw it on the front page, made me laugh. Feinstein - the Republican from San Francisco who got elected by calling herself a Democrat.
Those who contacted professional liar DiFi were told she opposed war in Iraq, and even sponsored a Senate resolution to reaffirm that no military action be taken on Iraq unless a formal declaration of war was adopted. Here is the bill:

She doesn't even have the backbone to stand by her own resolutions. Sellout. Again.
What do you expect from a gun control advocate who personally carries a revolver.

In your tirades you forgot to mention that Feinstein is a Jew and from reading several strings here, we know how evil and deceptive Jews are. And Feinstein “the Republican” must be a secret agent on the take from the Zionist in Isreal in their Plot to TAKE OVER THE WORLD and turn us all into MIND ZOMBIES!!!
First, to build a movement to put an end to war is to put an end to capitalism, which is what both the Democrats and Republicans represent equally, and is a bankrupt social order that is long overdue to be dumped into the dustbin of history. That is becoming increasingly obvious to millions more people with every reactionary vote and with the constant decline of our economy.
Second, the US Senate is the millionaire's club and was a concession to the slaveholders and is very anti-democratic. A socialist society would certainly eliminate the US Senate and expand the House so that the House districts would be larger, allowing the smaller parties to have representation if they obtain at least 5% of the vote. The US election system is the most undemocratic in the industrialized world and is long overdue for major changes.
Third: The Senators who voted No on the Iraq resolution are practically all Democrats (one independent and one Republican). The Democrats clearly viewed this as a partisan issue. Those Senators are:
----Barbara Boxer, Democrat, California, expires 2005, so she is essentially running for office now. This pro-death penalty, pro-Israel, against the 9th Circuit decision tossing the pledge (as did the whole senate), millionaire Democrat often plays the good cop against Dianne Feinstein, the "bad cop" Democrat. This little game is insulting and must be rejected. Stop voting for the Democrat-Republicans.
----Barbara Mikulski, Democrat, Maryland, term expires 2005, thus running for office now. She has voted for Israel, war-funding, etc. (like Boxer) and is best remembered as voting for the repeal of welfare in 1996, of which that good Democrat Pres. Clinton was proud, and which he signed. Paul Sarbannes, Democrat, Maryland, term expires, term expires 2007, will be 74. Clearly, Sarbannes voted a partisan vote.
----Bob Graham, Democrat, Florida, term expires 2005, thus running for office now.
----Carl Levin, Democrat, Michigan, term expires 2003, definitely running for re-election now. Debbie Stabenow, Democrat, Michigan, term expires 2007, at which time she will be 57, most likely running for re-election. Michigan is a strong labor state with a significant African-American and Arab-American population.
----Daniel Inouye, Democrat, Hawaii, term expires 2005, running for re-election now. His fellow Democratic Hawaiian senator, Akaka, has until 2007 to run for office at which time he will be 83. His No vote is commendable. I do not know his politics but there is always a white v. non-white factor in this vote as well as the obvious partisan factor in the vote. The entire Hispanic caucus and all but 4 members of the Black caucus in the House voted No. He certainly has the memory of the illegal and horrible imprisonment of Japanese-Americans without trial during World War 2.
----Ted Kennedy, Democrat, Massachusetts, term expires 2007, when he will be 75. Clearly he is not running for anything, but his family is viewed as presidential material and is certainly a first family of the Democratic Party.
----Jack Reed, Democrat, Rhode Island, term expires 2003, running for office now.
----James Jeffords, Independent, Vermont, term expires 2007, when he will be 77. Vermont is often independent of the official line. The other Vermonter, Patrick Leahy, Democrat, term expires 2005, running for office now.
----Jeff Bingaman, Democrat, New Mexico, term expires 2007, will be 64. Probably running for office again.
----Jon Corzine, Democrat, New Jersey, term expires 2007, will be 60. Probably running for office again.
----Kent Conrad, Democrat, North Dakota, term expires 2007, will be 59. Clearly running for office again.
----Lincoln Chafee, Republican, Rhode Island, term expires 2003, running for office right now in this small state and urban, extension of New York City
----Mark Dayton and Paul Wellstone, Democrats of Minnesota Dayton is running for office in 2006 at age 60 and Wellstone is running for office now in a major battle that includes a Green Party candidate. Minnesota has a very strong progressive tradition, with lots of socialists running for various offices historically.
----Patty Murray, Democrat, Washington, running for re-election now. Seattle has been the site of major peace demonstrations and is a stronghold of labor, including the ILWU. Seattle labor is as proud of its 1919 general strike as San Francisco is of its 1934 general strike.
----Richard Durbin, Democrat, Illinois, running for office now. Illinois is a labor state, with one of the major cities in the nation, Chicago, being the site of major chapters of all progressive national organizations, including all peace, labor, African-American, gay rights, women’s rights, and all other progressive organizations.
----Robert Byrd, Democrat, West Virginia, term expires in 2007 when he will be 90. West Virginia is a labor state based on one of the most militant unions in American history, the coal miners’ union. The Democrats must have the labor vote to exist, even if they are a capitalist party and thus cannot seriously represent labor.
----Ron Wyden, Democrat, Oregon, running for office now.
----Russ Feingold, Democrat, Wisconsin, running for office in 2004, thus now. Has a reputation for being liberal sometimes, but not always.

Of course it's possible - they voted for the resolution BECAUSE it was in their best political interest to do so... They could care less if it totally contradicts their beliefs because their beliefs are tied to anything that will get them re-elected... Don't know why everyone is so shocked at this.

So here you go Peacenik - you forgot to add some of the other noteable items that lefties seem to "forget".
Robert Byrd - Former KKK Grand Wizard.
Ted Kennedy - killed Mary Jo Kopecknic (sp) while drunk in Chappaquiddick, MA
Diane Feinstein - Super rich husband who business deals with China - read CAPITALIST. Diane didn't give a rats ass about the faggot - Milk.
Hilary - What a fucking joke.

Feinstein also supported the use of Taft-Fartley against the Longshore workers. She supports the US war drive and union busting. Surprise, surpirse. Looks like a good possibility of linking the anti-war and labor movements.
While Senator, Feinstein and husband Richard Blum added an old-growth redwood deck on one of their wine country mansions, while BU**SH**tting Californians that she would act to protect the last few redwoods left in the state.
