SF Federal Night Camp - Beautiful!!!

by bov
What a great thing this has been . . . .
corporate_reporter.jpg
I don't yet know how to take night shots, but I liked how some of these came out anyway. It was an AMAZING experience!!! I got there around 9 and stayed until 1, then will be going back at 7am for the action . . .

Lots of people paused to remark to me - as I taped streamers around the building - how great the action was and how important it was, taxi drivers, older people, people who had had too much to drink, activists, etc.

Everything was spontaneous. For a long time the news vans kept everything lit up with their lights, but it was actually nicer without those.

It's hard to do this, being cold and tired, but it's so important right now to send this message. And it was also one of those life experiences that may never happen again, like walking into the huge field at the Franti Concert and turning to someone else who had the same look on their face, and we both smiled at each other and I said - "I think we've found mecca!!"

If you care at all, and have any time, please come to the Federal Building and show support, for those who will choose to take action at 7am tomorrow, and no doubt, later too.

War is the biggest reason to fear Bush. Come and share your opinions at http://www.fearbush.com

bov asked that you:

1) Petition the House not to pass the Presidents resolution ---- LOSER
2) Call select Senators, ask them to filibuster ---------------------- LOSER
3) Implore the Senate not to pass the Presidents resolution ---- LOSER

So far, bov is a THREE (3) time LOSER.

Let’s say it again – LOU-SA
Say again - LOU-SA
One more time – LOU-SA
OK again – LOU-SA
LOU-SA, LOU-SA, LOU-SA

Time for brief analysis on the requests by this LOU-SA.

On the filibuster, the Democratic Senators weren’t EVER going to filibuster. What a stupid and immature request on bov’s part. They want Iraq off the front page of the papers. A filibuster is used if you want to keep the issue in front of the public because you feel like you have some issue to raise. A filibuster at this time would only drag out the issue when they want it to go away. Hoping for a filibuster was worse than a pipe dream.

That the House or Senate was not going to pass this resolution was never a consideration. The American people overwhelmingly support President Bush’s resolution to taking Saddam out and continuing the war or terrorism.

Wrong.
Talking to the people I do work for
and this is a rich patchwork of
diversity believe me, I have found
that mostly they are confused and
despondent about what that are getting fed
by the media. So we know the media is
doing THEIR job.
We, the ones who listen analyze and do
some digging have our jobs to do.
It's just that we don't get paid or
have the access to the public in a corporate
run propaganda platform that serves the
elite roach droppings VERY well.
Overwhelming support, my ass. I know
different.
The lid is coming off. And whether it blows
in a detonation or a purposeful analysis is
up to the ones who love this land beyond
personal petty personal gain. Peace flags
are now adorning vehicles.
More rain drops are joining together to
strike the moral dust on a vast dessert
of this criminal system.

He's the greatest upgrade in Presidential history. I'd say as of now you'd have to put him in the top ten. Whereas his predicessor will always rank just one rung below Richard Nixon at the bottom.

He inherited a plunging economy and the 9/11 mess. Thank god we were able to skate through 8 years of Clinton without a major crisis. Can you imaging Janet Reno dealing with the issue of detainees?

The US action in Afghanistan has been a tremendous success. Hamid Karzai has become a very popular leader with his people who consider themselves to have been liberated.

As soon as the upcoming elections are over, and we bump Tom Daschle out of the way, Bush will be able to make some forward progress on the economy too.

I think Bush has the best cabinet in a long long time. Recall the first years of Clinton and his cabinet appointees? It was a scandal a week.

Poor Bushman, I know none of these sock puppets
are worth the price of a peanut.
Are you one of the audience, raptly enthralled by
the punch & Judy show in Washington? You're
wasting your time.
And you are spouting the mindless trivia, regurgitated
from a corporate propaganda machine.
Look around.
