Israeli Terrorist kill 24 Year Old Palestinian Farmer

by Colbalt
More news from the "Brave Little Democracy". Well, actually nothing really new ( it happens everyday), Armed Israeli terrorists (call them Settlers, if you prefer) kill yet another Palestinian for....well, for not being one of "God's Chosen People"

Palestinians: Settlers killed man from village of Akraba By and Arnon
Regular, Ha'aretz Correspondents

A Palestinian man was shot dead Sunday and another man was wounded by settlers near
the West Bank village of Akraba, next to Nablus, Palestinian sources said.

According to reports, the man, a 24-year-old resident of the village, was shot by settlers in
an olive grove close to the village. The police have yet to verify the reports.

"A group of 10 to 12 armed settlers opened fire and tried to disperse the olive-pickers,"
said Ghaled Myadmeh, mayor of Akraba. "They opened fire extensively and Hani Yusuf,
24, was killed and another man wounded."

Settler arrested for shooting, wounding Palestinian
In a separate incident earlier in the day near the West Bank village of Luban al-Sharkiyeh,
an Israeli man was arrested on charges of shooting and lightly wounding a Palestinian man
during confrontations between settlers and Palestinians.

Just wondering if you ever posted any of the innumerable murders commited by your beloved "Palestinians." E.g., the ever-popular obliteration of school children so loved by your heroic Palestinian "freedom fighters."
Israelis haven't been hurt lately. And when they are, you hear about it incessantly on CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, all the newspapers, etc. You never hear about the daily murder of Palestinian civilians (unless they were holding a gun). In fact, FAIR did a study which showed that Israelis were less likely to be mentioned as victims if they were soldiers (and sometimes Israeli soldiers were depicted as civilians) and Palestinians were less likely to be mentionend if they are children and more likely to be mentioned if they were armed...

We're just trying to balance things here.

Israeli victims are very far and in between. You wouldn't realize that by watching the mainstream media. In fact, you could be forgiven for thinking the Palestinians occupy Israelis if you watch the mainstream media.

The media concentrates so heavily, in fact, on Israeli victims, and so little on the DAILY killings of Palestinian civilians, that its function can be accurately described as a propaganda function with its goal to keep Americans in the dark about the reality there and keep our tax dollars flowing to that country.

Anyway, I'm sure that when an Israeli gets killed or injured, you will be informing us by posting the details here. It's just that it hasn't happened for a while...

This just provides a small amount of balance. Even this, however, with its dozen or so readership produces a panic in fanatical pro-Israelis.

If it was not for the internet, none of this would be known to average Americans.
The Palestinians requested that UN peacekeeping troops be deployed in the Occupied Territories as a buffer between the two people but this was rejected by Israel and vetoed out of history by the US. The reason was the UN troops might become witnesses to Israeli excesses and get in the way of conquest.

If anyone is serious about reducing the violence there, that one step would seem to be a good starting point. But again, this was not only accepted by the Palestinians, but actually proposed by them and completely rejected by Israel with diplomatic backing from the US (meaning from me, you and everyone else in this country) in the form of a UN Security Council veto -- vetoing it out of history and relegating it to the dustbins of memory.
