Judge says no to PL logging
By John Driscoll The Times-Standard

EUREKA -- A Humboldt County Superior Court judge ruled Friday that Pacific Lumber Co. must stop logging.

Retired Judge John Golden also granted PL six logging plans yet to be approved, but which the company says fall short of what it needs for the rest of the year.

Golden also took a shot at PL and California Department of Forestry attorneys, as well as counsel for the plaintiffs, the Environmental Protection Information Center and the Sierra Club. The parties all suggested his previous ruling that implemented a stay was unclear, but none filed a motion seeking clarification, he wrote.

follow the link to see the rest of the story. an article came out today that PL is continuing to thumb their nose at the court order. Meanwhile the protests continue. An anaconda lockdown was rumored to be had at fox camp gate which happened early monday morning and was still up as of 9:30 am on tuesday.
