Xochitl, of the Not in Our Name project discusses the bombing of Afghanistan, the round-up and detention of Arab-Americans, the attack on civil liberties, and the imminent war in Iraq.

The Not in Our Name project organizes around three key issues -- stopping the U.S. war against the world, putting a halt to the detention of Arabs and Muslims in this country, and fighting against the erosion of our civil liberties. They are also working to stop the war in Iraq before it starts.

Join Not in Our Name for a mass convergence in Union Square on Sunday, 6 October 2002, at 2 p.m. This is the eve of the anniversary of the beginning of the U.S. bombing of Afghanistan.
