We got a lot of honks and cheers, lots of stunned-looking pedestrians on Haight Street, lot's of "I'm with you!" from all types of people.
One elderly white-haired guy in the park who looked conservative started going on and on about what a idiot Bush is and how he's ruining our country - that's one of the things I loved about this event, ordinary people are really PISSED OFF at this asshole, SO pissed off that even if we show up with pictures of him with blood dripping out of his eyes(!) they still support us!
The band was amazing (but I didn't catch what they call themselves), also the radical cheerleaders - both excellent! It felt so good to know that other groups and individuals were courageous enough to join us and support the call to investigate the events of 911 and expose our government's complicity - be it conspiracy, complicity, or plain old ignorance.
We'll be having a similar march in Oaktown on the 11th - join us!
(I'll post a little more on this later . . . )
