FRESHWATER -- Two tree-sitters protesting in Pacific Lumber Co.-owned redwood trees in Freshwater got a stellar visitor on Monday afternoon.

Folk music legend Joan Baez, in town for two shows at Humboldt State University, dropped by to offer her support.

"'Sup! Air a little thin up there?" the 1960s icon shouted to the protesters, who were more than 150 feet above the ground.

Follow the url to read the full story the corporate press wrote about the visit. Wanted to get it out that this happened and don't have the full details yet. Images to come from the grassroots on this real soon!
