Free The Five

by freethefive.org (freethefive [at] actionsfbay.org)
If you could prevent terrorist acts, wouldn't you act in defence of your country?
There are 5 Cubans who are in U.S. Prisons for simply defending their country from terrorist acts by extremist right-wing groups in Miami. They have been handed sentences from 15 years to two life terms.

The five never harmed anyone, yet they are in prison while the anti-Cuba extremists whom they tried to stop are walking free in Miami.

I've seen a few posts relating to these prisoners but there is never any information regarding what they were charged with. All I ever read is that the were wrongly convicted and need to be released. You say they never harmed anyone, were they found guilty of espionage? Why are they in prison?

Also, is the National Committee to Free the Five a front organization for the ISO? I saw Gloria La Riva's picture on a post relating to this issue.
