UFW Protest in Santa Rosa on Sunday
March for Legalization
On Sunday August 4th, join the UFW and UFW president Arturo Rodriguez for a legalization march at 10:00 am.
Start at Lawrence Cook Middle School
(8360 Sebastopol Road across from the Post Office) and end at Southwest Community Park
(Hearn Ave).
Everyday, we as immigrant workers make vital contributions to our economy, our communities and our nation.
Unfortunately our outdated immigration laws force many of us and our families to live in fear of being deported for simply going to work each day.
We urge politicians to approve immigration policies that reward work by giving hard working, tax paying immigrants already living inthe US the opportunity to earn legal status.
A mass will also be celebrated at 9:00 am at Lawrence Cook Middle School.
The march will end with festivities - Join us!
