Sami Awad, a peace activist and Executive Director of the Holy Land Trust-Palestine, is coming to San Francisco to speak about Palestinian strategies for peace and challenging the Israeli occupation. Mr. Awad has been closely involved in the Palestinian peace movement for more than a decade and is responsible for establishing non-violence, conflict resolution and youth service training programs throughout the region. Mr. Awad has directed The Holy Land Trust-Palestine since its establishment in 1998. The Holy Land Trust-Palestine focuses on improving lives through community development, by promoting peace and reconciliation, and creating the means for economic sustainability. Donation of $10 at the door. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Sponsored by New College of California and Global Exchange.
