2002 Prisoner Art Show Accepting Submissions

SPREAD THE WORD!!!!

The Prison Activist Resource Center (PARC) is accepting submissions for our 2002 art show.

The show is themed "Imagining a World Without Prisons" and is scheduled to open in November 2002.

We are accepting:

writings
drawings
paintings
sculptures
& mixed media work

from:

prisoners
former prisoners
family members and children of prisoners
(collaborations between artists will also be accepted)

We are really excited about recieving work from the children of prisoners and are planning on having an open art studio in the fall ( We are aiming
for October, but will keep you posted) to create a space for the children of prisoners to create art based on the theme for the show.

Please address the theme of the show, and submit a biography of yourself.
