Community Peace Summit against violence at CellSpace Saturday 7/13

In response to the unprecedented increase of violence in the Bay Area, cuts in funding to social services and U.S. military intervention in various international communities, In-Depth Funktions presents, ?Meeting of the Minds<sum>, a Community Peace Summit.

This FREE event will take place on Saturday, July 13th from 12:00 - 7:00pm at CELLspace. Identify root causes of violence and connect issues of violence locally and globally, network with community leaders and social activists, spread the message of peace through performance and artmaking, and develop a realistic plan of action to support anti-violence work in our community and anti-war movements abroad!!
Participating organizations include: Global Exchange, Food Not Bombs, Calles, Olin, Brothers Against Guns, IYEL, Colored Ink, KPFA, Community Peace Initiative, UCA War, and others.
