Maverick Scientist Banned From U.C. Berkeley

The Alameda County Superior Court of Berkeley, California issued a Temporary
Restraining Order today banning Dr. Richard S. Wallace from setting foot on
the campus of University of California, Berkeley. The plaintiff, The
Regents of the University of California, have alleged in the complaint that
Dr. Wallace is "unstable". Dr. Wallace is accused of making threats.

These accusations were made by a specific U.C. professor, and Dr. Wallace may be in
violation of the T.R.O. by even mentioning his name! Except for emails, Dr. Wallace
has not even seen the guy for two years. The court document makes an issue about his medical condition and says, "Dr. Wallace is an unsually large man at 6'3"
and 250 lbs." and they found some 20 year old photo of Wallace wearing an LL Bean
comoflage chamois shirt and holding a TV camera. Of course, no physical
injury is claimed. Only emotional injury.

Wallace is looking for a lawyer to represent him pro bono. The Regents have a big
Oakland law firm. There may be some free help available for disabled people
living on social security.
