Some people declare that this site is filled with anti-freedom of speech liberals. I'm not that sure. If you have a good sense of humor and able to critisize the way the US government protects its interests, go check this video (or the mpeg format).
(I wish the max. number of you guys could see or hear it. It’s IN ENGLISH (subtitled in french) and I kicked myself to find a site from which you could directly download it; there are short explainations down there). THIS VIDEO IS AN INCREDIBLY ACURATE COMPARAISON WITH WHAT FRENCH PEOPLE REALLY THINK OF THE US.

The french opinion has never been naive of the way the american governement protects its interests, and the massive protests of the french population to W Bush as he visited Caen (in France) last day were far from being the fist ones. French and americans have often disagreed, but the "american way"'s rarely been so much contradicted by France.
"Les Guignols de l'Info"is an excellent satiric comic news program on the french privat TV channel "CANAL+". The show is presented by puppets of all important figures of the world's politics, and it's pretty much a french adaptation of the famous british "Yes Prime Minister" progam. No censorship allows them to say whatever they want, and they are excellent at EXAGERATING issues by giving them a true but hilarious meaning.
IN THIS VIDEO, the puppet of W bush is singing along with S. Stallone's puppets and recording a song in a studio. (. S. Stallone represents in this show what they call "THE WORLD COMPANY". The combination of globalisation, the US government and its lobbys....).
What they sing is the famous "We are the world" song by Michael Jackson.
Except that they chose lyrics that couldn't fit better with the US government. I let you the good surprise to hear it yourselves.
