Courtyard Marriott Fisherman's Wharf Strike

As of this Friday morning, the Local 2 members at the
Courtyard Marriott at Fisherman's Wharf went on
strike.

The workload and wages are below the citywide union
standard. Currently, the room cleaners clean 16 rooms
a day, while the union standard is 14 rooms or less.
Also, all classifications in the hotel are paid way
below normal union scale!

Please support the workers in their efforts by
participating on the picket line this Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday from 6am to midnite each day.
The hotel is located at Beach and Columbus Streets and
is accessible by bus lines (30 Stockton, 19 Polk, F
Market, Powell Cable Car).
