A Real Answer for the Bay

by Americanadian (salem [at] groovy.net)
Leading American expatriots have formulated an real solution to issues plagueing San Francisco and the Bay Area. Become a Canadian Province!
Aside from the fact that .ca is the registry for Canada it is also the initials for California. Inspired by many of the similiarities between Canada and Northern California an ad hoc organizing collective of former California's now living in Canada has decided to formally pressure the San Francisco government and the surrounding metropolitan areas to break away from the United States and become Canada's next province.

We realize many will point out merely switching governments is no final solution and as anarchists we agree. However, at some point one must point out that many of the issues that have plagued the Bay Area: racism, poverty, homelessness, corporate intrusions into every part of life, will be reduced by the restructuring of civil society along both Canadian social structural and governmental structural lines, such as health care, education and most importanlty limited defense spending. So forget about all the left wing disputes between progressives, militants and liberals just tell Willy and Jerry to give up American citizenship and actively lobby to make the Bay a Bay for Canada! And don't forget a Canadian dollar is worth .62 cents meaning that when you become canadian you will become instantly worth more, not to mention a relatively aggressive renter's rights laws that protect consumers more.
