NN2.jpg" dest1.jpg" A few intrepid investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the events of September 11, 2001. May their tribe increase. Unfortunately, the few public figures who have called for a congressional investigation were met with invective, scorn, and slander in the press. In an interview with Pacifica Radio, Congresswoman Cynthia A. McKinney states her reasons for requesting an investigation.

McKinney: It was incredible sitting in the room on the day that secretary Rumsfeld gave his presentation to members of the Armed Services Committee. Of course I serve on the House Armed Services Committee, and every year the Secretary of Defense comes before that Committee with a statement on the budget. Now, the 48.1 billion $ increase that Secretary Rumsfeld requested was interesting because basically what he said was we can afford it. Notwithstanding the fact that the Pentagon has lost 2.3 trillion dollars that we very well cannot afford to have lost.

Bernstein: Lost it? Where did they lose it?

McKinney: Well, that's a darn good question. You would think that Arthur Anderson is their accountant over there. They have lost 2.3 trillion dollars, and they don't know where to find that money. And of course the Secretary acknowledged the fact 2.3 trillion dollars remain unaccounted for, but in his testimony to the House Armed Services Committee, the Secretary said that the US can afford it.

McKinney: The father [George Bush Senior] sits on the board of an organization called the Carlyle Group. Now when we had Frank Carlucci come to testify at the House International Relations Committee shortly after George W was sworn in…

Bernstein: former Defense Secretary

McKinney: former Defense Secretary -- and we have a requirement that organizations that come before our committee, the House International Relations Committee, have to disclose Federal contracts. And so I requested of our chairman, Chairman Hyde, whether or not the Carlyle Group would be subjected to that requirement, since everyone else has to do it. And of course the Carlyle Group was not required to make any disclosure as to the Federal contracts that it had. That in itself means that they are skirting the rules of the House. Notwithstanding that, the fact that the father sits on the board of the Carlyle Group, which is one of the highest level defense contractors in the country. I think they're number 11 or 12 in defense contracts.

Why Did No Fighter Jets ‘Scramble' to Protect Washington D.C.?

"Our research has been carried out mainly by volunteers. Newspapers and TV news departments have full-time research staffs. The important media have bureaus in Washington DC, just a few miles from the Andrews airbase. Why haven't newspapers and TV news programs reported the truth: that Andrews job was to protect DC?

This failure is especially striking because some media did report that fighters scrambled from Andrews, but only after the Pentagon was hit. Thus they were aware that Andrews was supposed to defend D.C."

Here are selected articles from Daniel Hopsicker’s series about the pilot training provided to the alleged highjackers. You might want to peruse the entire series.

Did Terrorist Pilots Train at U.S. Military Schools?

"In addition to having been inducted into the U.S. flight training program by two Dutch- owned flight schools in Venice, Florida, as many as six of the terrorists, including ringleader Mohammed Atta, also received training at U.S. military facilities, according to a flurry of stories between Sept 15 and 17 in the Washington Post, Newsweek, and Knight Ridder newspapers. The story had an extremely short life."

FBI Cover-up of Mohamed Atta’s Last Days

"'They loaded two Ryder trucks (of Huffman Aviation and Venice Police Department documents) right outside that (police station) window,' one Venice law enforcement official told us.

"‘And then they drove them right onto a C130 military cargo plane at Sarasota airport which flew out with Jeb Bush aboard. The FBI took all our files. Everything.'"

http://www.madcowprod.com/index24a.html

The Many Guises of Mohamed Atta Xymphora (May 4, 2002)
"Why was Atta so extraordinarily sloppy in his relations with government bureaucracy (driving without a licence, not attending at his court hearing, abandoning a plane at Miami airport, and having, of all things, visa problems), all out of line with what is supposedly the al-Qaeda training manual which insists on terrorists keeping a low profile, unless he was trying to create an obvious record of his existence and identity in the United States? My guess is that the person playing the role of Mohamed Atta was an American citizen, possibly of Iraqi descent (and certainly of Arab descent, in order to have the language skills, cultural knowledge and general appearance), and a highly trained pilot and intelligence operative, whose real name we'll never know. We do know he was willing to kill himself for a cause. What cause would that be?"

http://xymphora.blogspot.com/

"After seven months of CIA, the Bush administration and the mainstream corporate media aggressively pushing the idea of an "intelligence failure" and that the CIA was "caught unaware" by the September 11th attacks, the Deputy Director of the CIA is clearly admitting foreknowledge."

http://www.onlinejournal.com/Special_Reports/Chin050602/chin050602.html

What did Ashcroft know and when did he know it?

"The fact that Ashcroft didn't take commercial flights after July 2001 meant that he knew that an attack was planned on some U. S. target using a commercial aircraft. The fact that Ashcroft didn't take commercial flights after July 2001 meant that he did not know where or when the attack would occur, for otherwise he could simply avoid the dangerous flights."

http://xymphora.blogspot.com

How intelligent are intelligence agencies?

"US intelligence agencies have known since at least 1995 that Islamic fundamentalist terrorists had enrolled at flight schools in the US to obtain training that would allow them to hijack commercial jets and fly them into buildings. One such plot, whose target was to be CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, was outlined in the 1996 trial of Ramzi Ahmed Yousef, organizer of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing."

Historians, Public Interest Groups Sue to Stop Bush Order

"The Presidential Records Act of 1978 was meant to shift power over White House documents from former presidents to professional government archivists and ultimately to the public," commented National Security Archive director Thomas Blanton. "But the Bush order attempts to overturn the law, take the power back, and let presidents past and present delay public access indefinitely."

http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/news/20011128/

Bill Aimed at Reversing Bush Order on Public Records By George Lardner Jr.

"Aiming bipartisan fire at what it described as the Bush administration's alarming penchant for secrecy, a group of House Republicans and Democrats yesterday introduced legislation to cancel President Bush's executive order restricting the release of presidential records.
Rep. Stephen Horn (R-Calif.), the chief sponsor of the measure, said the order was a violation of 'the letter and spirit' of the Presidential Records Act of 1978, which declared for the first time that the records of a former president belong to the public."

Bush Tries to Close the Vault of History By Joe Conason

"Most Americans will perhaps regard the Bush executive order as a trivial matter, of little or no concern at a time when the nation is struggling against murderous enemies abroad (and possibly at home). Yet as we ought to have learned during the Cold War, it is precisely at such moments that loyalty and patriotism require resistance to the curtailment of basic liberties. The President's attempt to close the vault on history has nothing to do with prosecuting the war against terrorism, and everything to do with covering up embarrassments both past and future."

http://www.observer.com/pages/story.asp?ID=5069

In an Addendum to his review of Robert Caro's biography of Lyndon Johnson (The Nation, May 6, 2002), Eric Alterman says, "George W. Bush's Executive Order 13233, which effectively eviscerates the Presidential Records Act of 1978 by fiat, is designed to insure that no historian can ever provide this kind of public service again. Twenty Democrats and three Republicans are co-sponsors of a bill to restore it. Write your representatives and tell them to get on board."

In the New Statesman (April 29, 2002) Mark Thomas comments on the US government's foot-dragging in the investigation of Enron offshore accounts.

"On 8 February 2002, a month into the Congressional hearings, and two months after Enron's stock had become less popular than a contemporary jazz solo, the Cayman Islands government issued a press release. It stated that the Cayman Islands government would be happy to co-operate with the US in the inquiry, should the US request it.
This might seem insignificant, but at the time, Enron had nearly 700 subsidiaries registered in the Cayman Islands and not one person from the entire US government had had the wisdom, time or power to request the disclosure of these companies' details. If I were a US citizen seeking to be reassured of my government's probity and diligence, I would at this stage be heading for the hills with a hundredweight of beef jerky, a hunting rifle, a do-it-yourself nuclear bunker and a lot of Van Halen Cds."

The Real Shadow Government The Albion Monitor

". . . while Americans were transfixed by his swaggering cowboy talk, Bush and his gang were quietly continuing their real mission: Wiping out pesky laws and regulations that their campaign contributors don't like. The Bushites are doing this at the behest of their corporate pals, of course, which make up the real shadow government. While the press has lately given attention to the secret high-level meetings between Cheney's energy task force and Enron (among others), Bush staffers have routinely taken marching orders from business executives. Documents obtained this month by the National Resources Defense Council shows that the White House created part of an Executive Order via cut-and-paste, lifting sections from an e-mail sent by an offical at the American Petroleum Institute."

Conspiracy Theory March 7, 2002 By Rebekah Gleaves

"A string of scientists working on similar projects all over the world are found dead. A mysterious Russian with ties to biological warfare tells tales of threats that boggle the mind. A Tennessee driver-testing center employee is burned to death after being implicated in a license-selling scandal. And the United States government pushes states to adopt a doomsday law that dramatically reduces civil rights."

...Convene A Grand Jury.

The pitiful thing here is that I'm in jest calling upon the very process that those of you who believe Bush & Co. were or could have been behind the events of 9/11 should be DEMANDING. Let me give you the low down, cause you sure as hell aren't going to get it (on any subject for that matter) from nessie or debate coach or whatever he's calling himself for the moment.

A Grand Jury can be convened based upon a simple belief, a guess, a circumstance that's just seems a little too coincidental. Unlike nessie who says stupid shit like (and I quote) “Just because there isn't enough evidence to warrant a Grand Jury, yet, doesn't mean that there isn't enough evidence to warrant an investigation” is just typical childish thought, or non-thinking in his case. You don't need "evidence" to convene a Grand Jury. Often times a Grand Jury is convened to simply see if an investigation is warranted. So McKinney could stand in front of a Grand Jury and say "I believe an investigation of the Bush Administration and these particular people and corporations regarding the events of 9/11should go forward and here's why. I haven't any evidence that there is a connection, but circumstances and various other events seem to all tie together,....." and so on. She’s lays out her case. Simple. Chances are she would get her investigation. She’s a damn Congresswoman. You think a Grand Jury’s going to tell her “No”? Think of it this way, Grand Jury's are nothing more than "fact finding missions", that's all. You convene a Grand Jury, tell them you think there's something going on and you want to investigate, and they give you the go ahead. Typically you report back periodically and the Grand Jury determines if what you have collected to that point warrants the investigation to continue. Grand Jury's can last for years.

My guess if you call or write or e-mail McKinney, Mike Ruppert , or Michael Moore or any of these others who are “calling on an investigation” and ask them why they don’t convene a Grand Jury, you’ll get some nonsense statement like you got from nessie. Don’t be fooled. The reason they won’t is very simple; They would rather have the issue than the truth. For McKinney, it’s a political thing, and would you expect anything less from a politician. For Ruppert and Moore, it’s probably more financial, just follow the money, baby. An investigation actually takes place and it turns up nothing, they lose the issue and the gravy train, and they damn well know it. Better to keep the issue alive and get as much mileage out of it as they can. That's their main concern.

There’s your answer, folks. In this one statement exists the anarchist answer to my question of convening a Grand Jury. But, there is a LOT more than just that here. In this answer lies the EMBODIMENT OF THE WHOLE OF ANARCHY,……and, why it’s a failure. Let’s review.

Anarchy> There needs to be an investigation.

Voice of Reason> Convene a Grand Jury.

Anarchy> Not enough evidence to warrant a Grand Jury, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t enough evidence to warrant an investigation.

Voice of Reason> A Grand Jury could ORDER an investigation.

Anarchy> I’ve never seen any indication that justice can be found in the courts.

Do you see this? Do you understand it? If you didn’t get it, read it again before you read on. To read this and to comprehend it is to see through their plastic facade.

This answer even begs the question of “Why should there even be an investigation?” Any evidence discovered would have to eventually go before a court. Yet, in their eyes, will justice be served in the courts? So, why an investigation at all?

If you didn’t see it before, do you see it now? This is so much more than an answer to a question regarding a Grand Jury. This is Anarchy at its best. This is Anarchy in its finest hour.

Look for this mindset in all that they say: From their view of the world and world governments; To the way they view those with whom they disagree; To the way they answer questions or provide comment on this site. This mindset is prevalent in ALL they say and do. It’s hypocrisy in its highest and purest form. And, it’s all right there, IF you JUST open your eyes and see.

Oh Yes, and Anarchist will rush in nanoseconds to defend it. And with enough smoke and mirrors to make anyone cough and go cross-eyed. Watch.

I don’t know if a more clear illustration will ever be presented for you to review. And understand, this is a way of life with these people. They stay in this mindset perpetually. Yet they seemingly haven’t a clue as to why the masses aren’t the same way. Oh, they THINK they do. Never let it be said a reason hasn’t been invented by them on their behalf. But, they don’t. They will read this conversation between “Anarchy” and “Voice of Reason” and the answers Anarchy gave are just as clear and reasonable to them as can be. That’s the mindset of which I speak.

For those who see this a little more clearly now, I am grateful. For those who wish to continue down the path to anarchy, go with this understanding; you are the future of those who must try and prop up this mindset. You want to see where it gets you in life, look at nessie. If that is where your aspirations take you, don’t be surprised when others don’t follow you there.

The best thing is if you did read the “Anarchist/Voice of Reason” conversation and didn’t get it, I’d prefer to have you in the anarchist camp.

Exactly James!

To argue with these idiots is like kicking yourself in the ass!

The anarchist logic you speak of provides insight into their thought patterns! It explains many things about them, including:

Why are anarchist's dirty and smelly?
Why take a bath? I'm just going to get dirty again!

Why are they cluttered and unorganized?
Why make my bed? I'm just going to sleep in it again!

Why so much tooth decay?
Why brush 'em? I'll be chewing again at lunch!

These among many other mysteries have now been revealed about the creature know as the anarchist.

I agree that an investigation would be fruitless and would be another distraction we should avoid so that we might focus our attention on the work that lies ahead. It is unfair of you to single out Nessie in your explanation of anarchists and how they view people and events. I have read many of the things he has written and can say he does not represent even a small fraction of those of us who are active in the struggle. In fact, it is his generation and their ineptitude that has kept anarchy from advancing as it should.

I believe your opinions come from a misunderstanding of anarchy. There are many differences between those of us who are active in the struggle and the opinions and statements of Nessie. A brief overview of Anarchy and the struggle for a free society might assist you in better understanding.

Anarchists are an international collective of revolutionary anti-authoritarian, anti-capitalist activists, involved with class struggle and who regard it as a total social struggle. Anarchists feel anarchism is a social theory, and that a revolution is necessary to bring about the new class-less social order, and that this revolution can only be made by the vast majority of the working people.

There are people who conceive themselves as revolutionary class struggle social anarchists, libertarian communists, syndicalists and others who hold similar opinions but use other labels. Nessie’s writings would belong in this group.

The specific kind of anarchism I talk about and promote is the anarchism of the Haymarket martyrs and those expelled by Karl Marx from the First International for criticizing his authoritarianism and the elitist, vanguardist degradation of the masses of the working class.

I do not support the kind of anarchism proposed by some pseudo-modernists and pseudo-"revolutionaries" who regard symbolic activity as substitute to mass struggle, or the kind of anarchism of "humanists" who hold other tasks as equal or more important than the revolutionary struggle for abolishing the capitalist system.

My work is not inspired by egoistic and egocentric individualism, primitivism, "free capitalism without a state" or even a state without free capitalism - who oppose the present capitalist order but do not offer instead a viable model of modern social order of freedom, equality, and solidarity.

It is not enough for individuals and groups to use an anarchist label for their texts to be considered real anarchy.

I hope this overview will be of help to you and others.

In all seriousness, we the public are bombarded by allegations of evil Islamic Terrorists of 9/11, and further threats ,pertaining to our day to day life. Just for curiousity sake, what would be the legitimate response, had we attacked them? What do their religious books say, or their code of laws?
Are there any Muslims out there that could tell us?

The young generation of the 1960's coined the phrase "Don't trust anyone over 30." Looks like it has come back to haunt them.

Just pick up a copy of the Qur'an from any book store, and read it. I'm not saying to go find religion, treat it as a history text.Within it , you will find that the questions that you ask, will have an answer. Let go of pre- concieved notions, ignorance or fear. Your not going to get brainwashed. Remember ,people did believe the world was flat. But they educated themselves and now, we fly into space. There are answers and there is truth, but we must not be selfish or arrogant in our pursuit to find the answers. An old teacher once told me," mutual welfare breeds mutual prosperity ".

How hollow can anarchy be that anarchists can't even agree on what it means? I mean, here we have anarchists debating over the rules of being an anrchist! How ludicrous is that? There are actual rules for how an anarchist should think, act, feel...so much so that they argue amongst themselves.

I don't care how much of an idealist anarchist you are. In the world we live in, anarchy will NOT work. So why do you people persist in chasing your tails?
by Travis McNalley
It has appeared for a while and does again that this writer Nessie has become the focus of discussion rather that whatever the subject matter may be. It also appears that much of this he only has himself to blame for it. He's rather brash and blunt and on the face of it considers himself to be the authority here. He seemingly cannot take people disagreeing with him for an answer. He answers with too many 'your wrong, not true, mistaken' type attitude. Should he address others in an ' agree to disagree' manner, he might find those willing to to be more cordial and himself to be more persuasive. All who write here should ask yourselves if you would like to be written back in the manner in which you write others. It looks like Nessie is getting a voice of 'No". If this is not about him, as he has written, he should word things in such a way as to not make it about himself or cause others to focus on him rather than what he has written. He should not always try and get the last word. If he is becoming the focal point rather than the subject at hand, he should ask himself what he has done or said to cause this. If he reads this, I certainly want him to know I am wishing to be of assistance.

>"Anarchy works, even in the world we live in today."

So anarchist, coming together and running a book store to make money, or more bluntly, participating in capitalism, is the best example you can give of how anarchy can work?

Damn you're funny!

Next you'll tell me about capitalists who open a capitalism bookstore and then give all their books away for free, just to advance the cause!
by brigg
You nailed it again, guy. No wonder this anarchy thing hasn't done any more than it has. There are too many factions, and as typical the younger want the older to die off so they take over. It's like when teenagers don't want to be seen with their parents anymore and they think they're smarter than Mom and Dad now, these young anarchists are the same way. Some things never change.

James did a great job of nailing DQ to the wall. Keep it up dude! Don Quixote calls for an investigation where any evidence collected would eventually end up in a court he doesn't believe would provide justice, so why investigate at all. Classic!

Treavor, you seem to mean well, but you don't understand DQ. Let me expalin by using one of your lines - "He should not always try and get the last word." DQ LIVES for the last word. To him, the last word is to win. Like children who say "Yes it is. No it isn't. Yes it is. No it.....", this is how he does.

If anyone hasn't read this little expose DQ sent to the other anarchist (it has Mutt and Jeff in the title) it's a must read and a laugh. This guy is Captain Dilusional !! Now he was an inspiration to Abbie Hoffman. What's next DQ? Did you inspire Jerry Rubin to run for mayor of Berkeley? Was it you who introduced Bobby Seale to Huey Newton? At least Hoffman had the courtesy to kill himself and Rubin stepped out in front of a car. What have you done?

It's funny to watch you squirm.
