OAKLAND, CA—Yesterday, Wednesday, May 8, the Plaintiffs rested their case after testimony by their final two witnesses and the videotaped deposition of Judi Bari, and a videotape of television news coverage was entered into evidence.

Judi’s deposition brought tears to the eyes of many in the audience and the jury box. It concluded with a radiant smile from Judi when she learned that the FBI and OPD attorneys, who’d sought to delay her testimony for years despite calling her their prime suspect, declined to ask her any questions at all.

William Simpich, the attorney who filed the original lawsuit, took the stand a second time to give testimony about missing FBI documents and unexplained renumbering of documents that indicated that 57 documents from the original total 260 documents in this investigation seem to be missing. Defendant attorneys declined to cross-examine him.

George Shook, banjo player who performed with Judi and Darryl and traveled with Darryl during the seven days prior to the bombing, testified that even though he was taken into custody (and held for five hours), he was never asked any questions by either the FBI or OPD.

Today, defendants will continue bringing their witnesses, who are expected to include: the completion of testimony by FBI Special Agent Timothy McKinley, the first FBI agent on the scene; Joel Levin, Assistant US Attorney who the FBI claimed they were in touch with regarding probable cause and who advised them there was none yet; Jeannette Brown, FBI “questioned documents” examiner; Paul Price, Senior Scientist with Air Force Safety Center in Albuquerque and expert witness on bombing, whose report was previously thrown out by the judge for failing to pass the “reliable science” test; and Sandra Figloni, FBI Administrative Supervisor responsible for filing procedures.

This site excludes comments of the opposing view to what its writers purport to be the "truth." It eliminates opinions that might reveal the real truth about Bari and Cherney.

I have written three letters that have described facts I know to be the absolute truth:

1. Bari posed for a photograph (widely distributed in newspapers) in full fatigues holding a semi-automatic gun, hostile in stance and facial expression, and intended to frighten those who oppose her views.

2. Bari and Cherney distributed pamphlets they authored, printed, and distributed, and in fact held classes in spiking redwood trees and filling gas tanks with substances that could disable a truck on the freeway, endangering innocent people.

3. Darryl Cherney was famous in Southern Humboldt for pipe-bombing schools of fish in pristine waters to fill his freezer with fish for the winter months.

No one wants you to know this on this site, and the site master edits out any such truthful statements.

what are all these posts from different people saying the same thing? Quit wasting space with work that isn't your own. Looking back at some of the more original posts, reading the summary of testimony and connecting the dots, it appears the FBI knows exactly who did the bombing and will not go after them because they set them up to do it in the first place. The old Japanese saying "the nail that sticks up gets hammered down" applies here. There are plenty of people out there that see what is going on and support doing the right thing..... even if they have to do it themselves, without acclaim.
by at least that's what they say
Why is this crap still here?

Accusation #1 refers to a set-up photo by FBI stooge Irv Sutley; Sutley provided the gun and the costume as a "joke," then published it claiming Bari was an armed insurgent.

Accusation #2 is made out of whole cloth. It is a lie.

Accusation #3 is made out of whole cloth. It is a lie.

The posts accusing Bari and Cherney of incriminating acts are curious, to say the least. Certainly, they follow the FBI's long-standing history of defaming the Left wherever possible. The use of one almost-true lie to back up two entirely false statements is an old Psyops technique.

Don't be fooled, folx--and don't be discouraged; the FBI is running on empty.

One more thing: there are people in Portland in solidarity with the plaintiffs, prominent activists whose names are Biff and "annie" (wrong spelling, of course). These persons have sent no posts to this forum and certainly would never post the lies printed under "annie" and "biff."

The presence of the names on posts emanating from a person hostile to the plaintiffs would point in the direction of a COINTELPRO attack....the accusations have appeared under different names.

Seems to me that the real story here is the total lack of coverage in the mainstream press. I was tuned to KPFA the other day and was stunned to hear that the trial had been sent to the jury. Yet I find zero coverage of this in the local or national papers. What the heck is going on? Sure it will be a wonderful day for justice if the FBI gets what I think they deserve in this case (of course I could be wrong on the score of who did what, that's up to the jury).

But I'm not wrong that this is a block buster story and that it's either been systematically supressed. Or, even worse maybe, America is so asleep that they just don't care. In which case the media has made the right choice (in a business sort of way) not to cover this.

To me this lack of coverage is the really big & important story here. Is this being discussed anywhere?

I searched the SF Chronicle for reporting on the trial and discovered one miserable article that had no awareness of the history or importance of this moment.
I sent two emails notifying the Chronicle of their abysmal coverage and received no answers.
