Zionists & Christian Fascists in Alliance

by Socialist
The Zionists and the Christian fascists are now openly in alliance in promoting that US oil cop puppet in the Middle East, Israel. See "US Congress backs Israeli assault on Palestinians: Resolutions highlight alliance of Zionism and Christian right" by Barry Grey, May 7, 2002, World Socialist Website at: http://www.wsws.org/articles/2002/may2002/cong-m07.shtml

See "US Congress backs Israeli assault on Palestinians: Resolutions highlight alliance of Zionism and Christian right" by Barry Grey, May 7, 2002, World Socialist Website at: http://www.wsws.org/articles/2002/may2002/cong-m07.shtml

After describing the pro-Israel resolutions promoted by Democrats and Republicans together, notably Senator Lieberman, Al Gore's former running mate for Vice-President, and San Francisco-San Mateo County Congressperson Tom Lantos (who joined San Francisco's Rep. Nancy Pelosi and California's Senators Feinstein and Boxer in voting for the pro-Israel resolutions), and the war crimes of Israel described in the report of Human Rights Watch, we read the folloinwg pertinent paragraphs (and the last paragraph really drives the point home):

"The US Congress is obviously not bothered by war crimes, as long as they are committed by American forces or those of Washington’s allies. In any event, they are a necessary component of a strategy whose ultimate goal is to “cleanse” the occupied territories of Arabs and make them part of a Greater Israel. This is the logic of Sharon’s policies, and the explicit program of much of the Christian right, which exercises enormous influence over the Republican Party and the Bush administration."

"Only days before the passage of the congressional resolutions, DeLay, an evangelist partisan of the Christian right, declared that the West Bank, which he called Judean Samaria, belonged by Biblical dispensation to Israel and should be incorporated into the Israeli state. On May 1, his fellow Texan, House Republican Leader Dick Armey, acknowledged on the CNBC television program, Hardball with Chris Matthews, that he favored Israeli annexation of the West Bank and the expulsion of its Palestinian inhabitants."

" 'I’m content to have Israel grab the entire West Bank,” Armey said, adding that he believed “the Palestinians should leave.'"

"The congressional resolutions underscored a political phenomenon of major significance—the increasingly open alliance of Israel and its American Zionist supporters with the Christian fundamentalist right. This alliance is pregnant with a morbid irony—the well-known anti-Semitic propensities of the fascistic milieu that spans Christian fundamentalist groups, white supremacist organizations and militia outfits, all of which have close ties to the right wing of the Republican Party."

"Only last month, DeLay, speaking to a group of evangelical Christians in Pearland, Texas, declared, “Christianity is the only way.” The point man for the extreme right in Congress went on to say he was God’s instrument for promoting a “biblical world view” in American politics."

"The Zionist-Christian right nexus embodies the deeply reactionary role played by the Israeli state, not only in the Middle East, but internationally. Another recent demonstration of its emergence is a half-page ad placed in the May 2 New York Times by the Anti-Defamation League. The ad consists of an article, published without comment, by Ralph Reed, a leading figure in the Christian right and current chairman of the Georgia Republican Party. The article is entitled 'We People of Faith Stand Firmly With Israel.'"

They don't have the right to call themselves Christians. They are simply fascists. The better term for them is "anti-christs"

You anti-semites are a pathetic bunch of losers.

Israel wins support on Christian Right
(Filed: 08/05/2002)

Toby Harnden reports from Washington on the gathering of some 'interesting alliances'

VILIFIED by the Arab world and regularly accused by Europeans of being a war criminal, Ariel Sharon was among friends yesterday in Washington, where pro- Israel sentiment is stronger than ever and Christian conservatives are forming close ties with Jewish groups.

In opinion polls, on Right-wing talk radio and in the editorial columns of the liberal press, support for Israel is unswerving. Last Friday, some 250 Christian leaders from across America gathered at the Israeli embassy in Washington.

"Some very interesting alliances are forming," said Gary Bauer, a prominent Christian conservative. "Many evangelicals believe that the land of Israel is Covenant land that was promised by God to the Jewish people. I believe Israel and the United States have got a confluence of interest. We're both democracies, and I see Israel, as I see Great Britain, as a defender of Western civilisation." For the time being, differences with Jewish groups over issues such as abortion has been set aside.

Mr Bauer, described by the Jerusalem Post as "a better spokesman for Israel than some Israeli diplomats", addressed the gathering at the Israeli embassy along with Janet Parshall, a Christian radio host.

More than half of Americans sympathise with Israel; only 14 per cent with the Palestinians. Both parties on Capitol Hill passed resolutions backing Israel last week despite opposition from President Bush, who did not want his hands tied on foreign policy.

Jewish groups exert a political influence disproportionate to the two per cent of the population they represent. Ten out of 100 senators are Jewish, and congressional staffers on Capitol Hill privately concede that to vote against Israel is financial, and therefore political, suicide for an American politician.

Even a hint of criticism of Israel in the media provokes a furious response. Jews have cancelled subscriptions to the Los Angeles Times, and in Boston contributions to National Public Radio have been withdrawn because of what was seen as pro- Palestinian reporting.

There has been widespread criticism of British news coverage of the battle for Jenin refugee camp, and a growing suspicion of Europe after recent attacks on Jews and Jean-Marie Le Pen's poll success.

Mr Bush is considered the most pro-Israel president since Ronald Reagan and some Jewish leaders who have previously voted Democrat have said they will back him in the 2004 election. Democrats usually capture 80 per cent of the Jewish vote but polls are showing that Republicans are picking up some of this support.

When Mr Bush is seen as tilting away from Israel, the White House is flooded with angry e-mails and telephone calls. Last month, he telephoned the Rev Jerry Falwell, an evangelical leader, to reassure him that he was not pressurising Israel to withdraw from the West Bank. Jason Isaacson, the director of government and international affairs at the American Jewish Committee lobby group, said US support for Israel was based on more than money.

"There's a popular myth that American policy on the Middle East is an engine driven by the so-called Jewish lobby and it's an ugly lie," he said. "I would place it somewhere on the spectrum of conspiracy theories of Jewish money and power controlling the world."

A former State Department official said: "There is no denying that the Israel lobby is extremely powerful, connected and increasingly influential in the Republican party.

"But given the rise in influence of the religious conservatives, who are ardent supporters of the state of Israel and form the ideological backbone of the Bush administration, you have a recipe for the America Israel Public Affairs Committee [the country's third most powerful lobbying group] having greater policy leverage than before."

That's right, islamic terror is a real threat, palestininan arab-facism is a real threat.

'Real' as in happened before (911, Lockerbi ), and will happen again. We have the power to stop islamic terror by saying - we don't wan't you, we don't want your blood thirsty religion in our midst. Take your middle ages mentality as far from here as possible, we don't care where, just go.
by Masada: Not In My Name
"Note: Masada2000.org researchers have been working overtime to find ANY similarities between how the Nazis treated Europe's Jews to how the Arab-Palestinians have been treated by the Israelis. So far they hare found no cattle cars shuttling millions of Palestinian men, women and children to death camps where they are robbed, raped, tortured, beaten, starved, skinned for lampshades, melted down for soap or used in medical experiments... and THEN piled into mass graves or incinerated in ovens!"

That's right, folks. The State of Israel has learned from Nazi Germany's mistakes. Israel simply bulldozes the hundreds of dead bodies under tons of rubble, then blames the victims, and labels them with the indefensible slander "terrorist." No need for ovens, lampshades, or soap. Then well-funded whitewash groups like Masada2000 spread palatable themes of denial. Israel's death camps for the Palestinians are termed "refugee camps." Israel has no need to rob the Palestinians: they're in the process of stealing the occupied territories, and steal vehicles, computers, and other Palestinian property. Such behavior is sanctioned and practiced by the IDF, which routinely confiscates the assets of Palestinians and the Palestinian Authority. Beatings are commonplace, as are street executions--no need for evidence or trial by jury. Starvation is simply a matter of course, and Israel destroys orchards, farms, roads, and villages, using the excuse of "self-defense." Torture is a common practice of Israeli interrogators, and is even applied to foreign and U.S. citizens who speak out against the Palestinian Holocaust. Remember, it doesn't have to look exactly like Nazi Germany to be a holocaust: this is what a holocaust looks like in the 21st century.

Don't be fooled: no amount of past suffering gives any group the right to inflict similar suffering upon others.

Don Quixote, you need to either be able to defend the WHOLE subject or abandon it altogether. Doing this "10 minus 6 is 2 because I refuse to acknowledge there is a number 8 and 7" doesn't meet the criteria. The Palestinian people are huddled in many countries in the Middle East in camps because nobody wants them. Even the 13 militants holed up in the Church of the Nativity can't find a home. Italy said No; Greece said No; the Saudis and the Jordanians have also said No. Egypt said it was willing to serve as a temporary haven for the militants, but only if it had clear confirmation of the final destination of the exiles.

Hey, wait a minute. These are noble resistance fighters struggling against Israel's brutal occupation, right? What country wouldn't be proud to play host to them? You don't suppose the Italians, the Greeks, the Egyptians, the Saudis, and the Jordanians actually regard the Palestinians as (gulp!) TERRORISTS, do you?

by brigg
As long as we're going back to the 1967 borders, let's go all the way. Jordan get the West Bank (Transjordan) and Egypt gets Gaza.

Israel may have something to say in that those lands are claimed by them by various military actions, and it has already been established that because a particular people may squat on a peice of land does not give them the right to claim it forever and ever, they must defend it.

Bobert hit the nail on the head. These people were made promises by their Arab brethern they they would have all of what is now Israel once they ran the Jews into the sea. When that never materialized, they got stuck in no-mans land with their Arab brethern (who don't want them either nor do they help them out financially unless a palestinian wants to kill him or herself for 'the cause') using them as pawns by blaming their past and current condition on Israel. The "resist by any means necessary" needs to be directed to their Arab brethern who have left them there to rot. The WHOLE subject involves not only the West Bank and Gaza, but also the camps in Lebannon, Syria, Jordan and the like. It's like talking about the American Indians but only mentioning Oklahoma.
Is calling Christians "Fascist" the way to discredit a group of people??? If liberals reject "name-calling" of gays and other groups by the conservative-right, then liberals should at least not do likewise.
Anyways, I'm hardly religious although I consider myself Christian. Also, I happen to be very pro-Israel. I applaud the current alliance of Christian and Jews in support of Israel. While both groups may still disagree on many issues, they should remain strong in this single issue in the onslaught of militant Islam and their extreme liberals supporters who by and large "attacked" America in our recent war against terror.
I strongly disliked Bush up until 9-11. His support for Israel is sealing my support for him. If I'm in a voting booth now, I will be voting G.W Bush. Yes, based on only 2 single issue - the fight against militant Islamic terror and support for Israel.
I'm one liberal who has swung the other way.
by Mr T
Just know that policies put forth by idiotic people are what caused 9/11 in the first place. AntiAmerican sentiment gave it its support. Supporting a war criminal is highly suspect in an ethical sense as well as being highly unChristian, that is what GWB is doing and you too. As far as all Christians being fascists: all Christians are not fascists. I dont ever think "all" was attached to it. So now you are joinging up with GWB, that is really sad, and is precisely why he is going to get us into more trouble. More people will die because of you, because of an inability to try peace instead of war, because of the political inability of our soft spined politicians to make Israel abide by international law, because of the Christian idiots in the country forgot about "cloth the naked, feed the hungry" and just about everything else preached in the Gospel.

Islamic extreamists aren't only targeting America and Israel.... they have committed atrocites in India, Russia, Ivory Coast, Singapore, Phillapeans, Algeria, Egypt, Pakistan and slavery in the Sudan.
9-11 is the result of Islam becoming facist and this facism celebrated as the love of Allah. Mr. T obviously knows little about the hatred most Muslim countries promote towards the Infidels... INfidel being anyone not a psycotic violence-loving, women-hating Allah freak. Check out how womens right activists and women who are raped are jailed in Sauid Arabia and Pakistan. They are considered terrorists, not Bin Lauden. You Mr. T are talking out of ignorance and out your ass.
by Mr T
"Mr. T obviously knows little about the hatred most Muslim countries promote towards the Infidels... "

Let me explain to you, you moron why I actually care so much about this whole ordeal right now. It is a source of Anti-American sentiment, that I believe you will agree on. Second, I spent the first eighteen years of my life in a small community in southern Queens which was hit harder by 9/11 than any other place in the world (except of course the area directly around the site). This makes me know a lot about how they hate the infidels. I want to make peace with these people not war, because when the shit hits the fan again, due at least in part because arabs are killed all the time by American bullets in Israel (close to 1800 since september 2000) another attack could happen. One way these lunatics spread their propaganda against us is through their use of america's supprot for the Israeli occupation and exploitation of Arabs in both the occupied territories and the apartheid type laws that exist in Israel today against Arabs. I am not saying that I support Arab fundamentalist regimes as being a true leftist i could never really feel that a non secular state is a good idea to say the least. But the way to remedy this is to talk, settle our differences by exchanging information. Open these places up to the rest of the world. And I beleive all I am doing is futile, becuase of a moronic gun wielding cowboy president who just constantly is pushing the wrong buttons. Instead of trying to unite us with the world he has been separating us from them, giving other people more reason to hate us. And I know more people I know will die because of it.

I agree with X. Islam is definitely a violent and intolerant religion. It baffles me to see the love fest oured onto Islam by so-called liberals who are supposed to fight fir equality and freedom. These so-called liberals suddenly wink at persecution of gays and women in Islamic society.
I grew up in an Islamic country. We have laws that says a woman who is raped must provide 4 muslim men as witnesses otherwise be charged for adultery herself (which carries the penalty of fines, prison terms or stoning).
I do not advocate attacking Muslims but I won't go overboard in political correctness and call Islam a. peaceful religion. It seems like many liberal extremists are in this blind rabid support of any groups so long as they are anti-West, Anti-America, Anti-Israel and anti-Christian.
I will call Islam for what it is - a violent, intolerant, bacward religion-not to mention evil too.
by me
there are a lot of Christian organizations that have spoken out against violence towards Muslims. Yet the only time Muslim organizations speak out against violence towards Christians or Jews is to encourage it. "Kill Jews whereever you find them" - not from Pakistan or Osama but a NY Mullah a few weeks ago. Even after 9-11 there is no outcry or rally when Muslim leaders encourage religious violence and profiling.
by Mr T
"I will call Islam for what it is - a violent, intolerant, bacward religion-not to mention evil too"

This would include all the Muslims I take it, making them all violent, intolerent, and backward, oh and not to mention evil too.

So why I should be censored, aside from the comments I never made, shouldnt this guy?

"Yet the only time Muslim organizations speak out against violence towards Christians or Jews is to encourage it. "Kill Jews whereever you find them"

you must have been stranded on a desert island on 9/11 to not here everyone speak out against it, even the Bush family's best buddy Sadam did.

That's right. And who could doubt the sincerity of Saddam?
