"They are shooting at anything that moves in her," said Danish postman Allan Lindgaard. He is one of ten International Solidarity Movement activists that were able to walk past Israeli soldiers and get into the Church with desperately needed food and supplieson May2. Thirteen others were arrested in a decoy action; at least two of them have been deported with NO due process. The rest, including former Bay Area activist and Prison Activist Resouce Center organizer Trevor Baumgartner, have been denied access to legal aid and have been denied any information as to their ultimate fate. The US House and Senate passed resolutions last Thursday supporting Israels military in the occupied territories despite earlier administration warnings that the vote could interfere in Middle East peace efforts.
Yesterday House of Representatives Majority Leader Dick Armey (R-TX) said in an interview that he believes that the Palestinians who are now living on the West Bank should get out of there. "I'm content to have Israel grab the entire West Bank," he said.
