3pm? Capitalism is Not Eternal Parade departs
(to downtown?)
check indymedia and 415 820-9658 for more details. See you there. Celebrate MayDay

At 4 PM, workers from all over San Francisco and the Greater Bay Area will gather at Market & Montgomery to call for PEACE, WORK, & HOUSING, recognizing the drastic need for our politicians to support just programs for immigrant workers & their families, instead of increased law enforcement measures on domestic and international settings. Please join us if you can. May 1, 2002, 4 PM, Market & Montgomery. The group will march to the INS building after a delegation meets with DiFi's representatives. Thank you for your consideration.

WOW!! That was absolutely glorious! It wasn't much, and it wasn't very large. But the spirit was there, something that seemed surprisingly absent from the huge march on A20. Imagine a march as large as A20 that was as spirited and unafraid of the pigs!!! The city would be ours!! The LOVE in that crowd was moving and inspiring!
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
