April 30, 11 a.m. George War Bush appears at a $100,000 per person fundraiser at Crowne Plaza, 1221 Chess Drive, Foster City. Take Hiway 101 to 3rd Ave exit. Take 3rd Ave East exit, then exit E. 4th Ave. Bear right on E. 3rd Ave. Turn right on Foster City Blvd., then right on Chess Drive. Protest Bush's Program of War, Racism & Poverty! Support the Palestinian People!

Maybe Im being paranoid, but looking at the listings for upcoming Commonwealth Club events in San Jose, there are NO EVENTS listed for April 30th, nor any mention of upcoming Bush shows for the CWC:

Likewise, digging around in Google I can find no references to Bush speaking in San Jose on April 30th, whereas the 11am Foster City gig at Crowne Plaza is mentioned all over the place:

Until the San Jose speaking event is credibly confirmed, everyone please realize that it may be a red herring. Protesters of Bush's last appearance in Portland on Jan 10 2002 were fooled into dispersing prematurely by a spoofed report via walkie talkie of Bush cancelling his visit:

According to an email from the Penninsula Peace & Justice Center http://www.peaceandjustice.org, and confirmed on the phone with both them and the International Action Center http://www.actionsfbay.org/, Bush's Foster City/ Crowne Plaza visit has been CANCELLED at the last minute and moved to the Santa Clara Convention Center at 11AM (NOT 3PM). The guy at PPJC says IAC has been frantically phone people all day on this, and their web site isn't even updated with the new news yet (should be in about an hour).

Folks, I suspect Bush is trying to dodge you.
