San Fransico shows its support for the Palestinians

by z
Large numbers of protesters (20,000+) marched from Delores Park to Civic Center to show their support for the Palestinians and their anger at the actions of the Israeli and US governments.

Their time would be better spent looking at their assholes in a mirror.

hooray for our courageous sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers, daughters and sons...a proud day for America

To keep silent is to acquiesce, to approve, to participate in evil.

One definition of insanity is to refuse to recognize pain.

According to our laws, if you assist in a crime, and if in the course of that crime a murder is committed, ALL parties in the crime are guilty of murder.

What is occurring in Palestine (for only one instance) is genocide, all made possible with taxpayer dollars from the USA.

The other holocaust occurred in part because people thought they benefitted from keeping silent. Some of us prefer standing over kneeling, at least in a spiritual sense.

What a great experience to be a part of this march!
For months I have felt I could do nothing, yet felt frustrated and angry at the obscene and blatant rape of the Palestinian people made possible by my tax dollars. I hope this is the start of a nation-wide movement to remove the corporate puppet from the White House.

Marched in DC on April 20 - a beautiful thing. Wonderful to know SF was rocking too!! Let's not go home and forget that we have work to do.
...to those to who feel these expressions were pointless or misguided...tell me it makes more sense to pump our tax dollars into war than our schools, our health, our environment, our peace of mind.

We are constantly reassured and encouraged by how articulate and cultured our detractors appear to be. If these are the kind of people who hate us, we must be doing something right.

It's so wonderful to see so many people aware and concerned and willing to stand up for what is right. Human rights! I firmly believe that it is these types of organized and non-violent actions that will surely make the difference. The power of the people is strong!
Blessings.

I am proud to be an American today. I have protested my government's wrongdoings and stepped in solidarity with the human race.

I'm curious. Is this the same crowd who gathered
for a rally after the suicide bombings started in Israel?
How sad that these neighbors are growing up knowing
only hate for each other.

What are you talking about?

Thank goodness the numbers were so small (25,000) confused and mixed up liberals who showed support for the murdereous ways of Affart and the Palestians while protesting against their own country! San Francisco's only flaw, the liberal views and ways of the "left"!
