DC & SF Protests gearing up; activists denied seats on domestic flight
Report received by Indymedia this evening:
An affinity group constituted primarily of university students from the state of Wisconsin have been denied their pre-purchased seats on a commercial flight from Milwaukee to Washington D.C. because the federal government has declared them "potential terrorists" and thus a high security risk. These students and community members were attempting to travel to the anti-war demonstrations in Washington D.C. this weekend. The last we have heard from them is that they are sitting in in the airport to protest the ludicrous crackdown on their civil liberties.

If what you are saying is true, that is beyond wrong. They should sue.

§Get to Demo; then File Lawsuit Monday
At the moment, if they cannot get on a plane soon, they should get to a bus station or go to another city and get on a flight. We need everyone at the demonstratoins. They can and should file a lawsuit Monday. They and their lawyers should get a very nice settlement. When the lawsuit is filed, a press conference should be called and a big stink should be made to be splashed all over the press.
