34: Where are we leading ourselves

by youngrebels.com
This is a call for revolution
We exist within a community of life
Our choices influence the course of existence
Are we leading or are we being led
Will we choose peace or war
34: Where are we leading ourselves

We exist within a world of constant change and we influence the future through the decisions we make. Since we all influence the course of humanity, do we know where we are leading ourselves? For example, is it our goal to be a peaceful species or do we want to exist within a constant state of war? These are two very different goals to choose from.

Of course, it's easy to just say that we lead a life of peace without really thinking about it. We can just accept someone else's definitions and procedures for peace and then proceed to close our minds to any other thoughts. If we all are subject to change, do we really want to make decisions in our lives while closing our minds to any other thoughts?

Choosing between peace and war is not an attempt to define a strict course of action. It is just an illustration of how we influence the course of existence. It is one example of different goals we have to choose from. Many people think about their decisions and guide their lives according to their choice of peace or war as a goal.

It seems to me that in matters or war and matters of peace it is the fragmentation of the fabricated world we are discussing. In other words, the "world" is inseperable from our projection. Peace is inseperable from war since all wars are fought to create peace.

It would be a tremendous accomplishment for our elected officals to recognize that this is the case; and an even greater accomplishment for the citizenry.

No doubt once this will be accomplished before the sun will have burned out and the earth forgotten humans, but don't hold your breath for it and be sure to stock up on food, water, and have that passsport handy.
