Earth First! trubadour extraordinaire, Danny Dollinger raises a fist for Judi Bari!

Lisa Bari is Judi Bari's eldest daughter, she is 21 now but only age 11 when her mother was nearly killed by a motion triggered, pipe-bomb placed under her carseat. The FBI failed to investigate the assasination attempt, but instead concentrated on blaming the victims and collecting information about the environmental movement in Northern California. The perpetrators remain at large.

If you're going to trot out the daughter to jerk some tears at least get her birthdate right. By the way has anyone seen her father, Michael E. Sweeney at the trial yet. First to Boz,
It's true I miscalculated Lisa Bari's age at the time of her mothers assasination attempt, it was late when I posted and I was very tired. As to the comment about her father Mike Sweeney, I have read the Flatland article and many of the AVA's rants but still have never seen any evidence that Sweeney is directly linked to the the bombing of his ex, Judi Bari. (Has anyone seen Bruce Anderson at the Trial yet??) It seems that the whole story is built around a flimsy conspiracy theory that because Sweeney was a "maoist" in the 60's and hung around with radicals, and wrote an article about the Isla Vista Bank of America fire, and was a suspect in a fire at an airport in Santa Rosa, then he most have car- bombed his ex-wife, and so on and so on. This is character assasination and does not amount to evidence. Then the handwriting analyses of John Foster, who used to work for the FBI, is held out to be some sort of proof that Sweeney wrote the Lord's Avenger letter. Mr. Foster's so-called evidence is so flimsy, even the FBI wouldn't accept it for this current trial. It's pretty obvious to anyone who has studied the facts of the lawsuit that the FBI was and still is attempting to, in their own words, "discredit" Earth First! as they have done to many other radical social change movements, such as the Black Panthers, AIM, Puerto Ricans, CISPES,...etc.
This fixation on the ex-husband being the bomber is yet another attempt to discredit EF! and undermine support for Judi Bari's legitimate lawsuit against the FBI.

As to the DNA issue. Not all DNA testing results have been completed yet, so it's still too early to know for sure. Also it's not easy to go around testing all the suspects DNA, unless you are the FBI or law enforcement with a subpeona. So far, the FBI and OPD have refused to conduct DNA tests, it's the private investigators who have done so, and they can't just walk up and force someone to hand over a blood sample. DNA doesn't come with a name tag, you have to compare it to a known sample taken from a suspect, so it's not so simple.

By the way Craig, are you one of the people who believes the Mike Sweeney theory?? Just curious.
