American Muslims for Jerusalem is organizing a free, full-day workshop and skills training session for community activists from across the country. Come to Washington to learn the secrets of effectively lobbying from trained professionals. Topics will include: current legislation affecting Palestine, the legislative process, effective lobbying techniques and strategies, building constituent pressure, holding meetings with Members, developing relationships with key individuals on the Hill…and much more.
The one-day workshop will be followed by a full day of meetings for all participants with Members of Congress and congressional staff. This is your opportunity to learn new skills and put them to the test.

Numerous members of Congress will be addressing the AIPAC crowd and you can be sure that AIPAC will have scores of its members lobbying Congress all day on Monday. Ariel Sharon and President Bush are scheduled to address the AIPAC conference on Monday night.
We must be on Capitol Hill in force that day to make our voices heard!!
