Some polling places have changed, so it is always wise to check your polling place.
You can also either view the voter handbook on the same website or pick it up at City Hall, Room 48 in the basement on the Van Ness side, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The San Francisco voter handbooks that are not delivered are currently sitting at the post office, waiting for the post office to make up its mind to deliver them to us. This outrage deserves the widest possible protest. If you have not received your San Francisco voter handbook, call the post office at 1-800-275-8777, then press 1, 4, 2 and then your ZIP code. If you call after 9:30 a.m. during a Saturday or weekday, you will eventually reach a live person who can tell you where your voter handbooks are. Please then demand that your voter handbook be delivered immediately. The more complaints they receive, the more they will realize that the San Francisco voter handbook is important mail! Apparently, elections are not taken seriously by the San Francisco Post Office. Please then call the San Francisco Elections Department at 554-4375 or E-mail rachel_gosiengfiao [at] ci.sf.ca.us and tell them the location of your SF voter handbook for your ZIP code, the direct phone number you were given for that ZIP code, and the name of the person to whom you spoke. Please act today as those San Francisco voter handbooks are (1) paid for by us taxpayers; (2) have the name of our polling place on the mailing label; and (3) have important information on the candidates and propositions.
YOU CAN VOTE RIGHT NOW AT CITY HALL AND ON ELECTION DAY AT CITY HALL, NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE IN SAN FRANCISCO. Everyone can vote at City Hall, in the basement on the Van Ness side, Saturday and Sunday, Feb 23-24 and March 2-3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On election day, March 5, regardless of your polling place, you can also vote at the same City Hall location between 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
