Amadou Diallo's Family Protests in NYC

by anarchist
Amid chants of "No justice, no peace," about 100 people take part in a candlelight vigil Monday night, Feb. 4, 2002, outside the doorway in the Bronx borough of New York where Amadou Diallo, an unarmed immigrant, was killed by police three years ago. The West African immigrant was hit 19 times in a barrage of 41 bullets fired by four officers who said they mistook his wallet for a weapon. (AP Photo/Ron Frehm)
