Radio interview with Peter Dale Scott, formerly a Canadian diplomat & prof. of English at UC Berkeley has been studying & writing about the hidden dynamics of U.S. wars for many years, including "Cocaine Politics"- Drugs Armies & the CIA in Central America". half hour radio show

Peter Dale Scott explains what's happening in Afghanistan with regard to the US taking oil from Turkmenistan out through Afghanistan while the Russians wanted to take it up to Russia. As well, Russia wanted the drugs to flow away from Russia. In fact, the drugs recently being grown by the Northern Alliance since the poppy fields of the Taliban were destroyed, are flowing into Russia where there is an enormous heroin problem.
