WWII Conscientious Objectors documentary
World War II has become known as "the good war." A recent film documents the 42,000 conscientious objectors who refused to fight it.
About 600 enthusiastic viewers watched the documentary "The Good War & Those Who Refused to Fight It" at the Oakland Museum Theater last Friday evening. In the audience were several WWII COs who were greeted with thunderous applause. A panel discussion with filmmaker Judith Ehrlich and others followed.
"The Good War & Those Who Refused to Fight It" will have it's first national airing on Tuesday, January 15, at 10 p.m. on PBS. (Channel 9 in the San Francisco Bay Area).
