Rebuking the AIDS denialists

by Helga
From an interview with Tim Kingston.....

Jack Nichols:

William Dobbs, a New York attorney who founded Sex Panic in 1997, says that "Petrelis and Pasquarelli conducted a 'phone zap' as part of a campaign against possible AIDS quarantine. They called, and urged people to call, public health officials and news reporters. Their vigorous efforts against the proposed Model State Emergency Health Powers Act have stirred strong emotions. While we (and others) may disagree with them on politics or tactics, the history of AIDS has often compelled aggressive responses by activists. The prospect of high bail and escalating criminal charges for protest is a genuine threat to civil liberties." How would you reply to Dobbs about this?

Tim Kingston:

My first reaction would be unprintable. The Model State Emergency Health Powers Act is quite simply an added on fig leaf to justify their latest antics. There is a big difference between a phone zap and hateful, threatening, criminal harassment. The "P" twins did indeed call public health officials, and screamed abuse at them, and reporters. When the progressive group Fairness and Accuracy in Media calls for critiques and zaps of media coverage they always note that being polite has more effect than being abusive. AUSF has never, ever, not been abusive.

I am sure that Dobbs would agree that agent provocateurs have justified many a crack down on civil liberties. The solution is to remove the provocateurs and expose them as either paid agents of the state, or by their actions, as good as the same, then isolate them and ignore them. Not build a campaign defending their indefensible actions.

Look, we all know how well loved reporters are. We all know that reporters are used to fielding irate calls. Does this not tell us something that even reporters filed suit against these guys?

I emphasize that what the "P" twins are doing is not protest. I repeat what they are doing is stalking, harassing, threatening, sometimes physically attacking and bullying anyone they disagree with or who stands up to them and publicly disagrees. That is not protest. It is how the National Front in England and the Brownshirts in Germany acted.

The high bail is justified. It is not a threat to civil liberties. It has taken five years for the situation to get to this point. The charges are a last resort to control this group.

Like I'm suppose to respect what Tim Kinsgton says. He's no activist just another conservative, AIDS drug company promoter, and queer sell out. Some of us are tired of these types who will defend the status quo till the end and actually insists that those who challenge the HIV=AIDS model be jailed. Tim Kingston is a discrace to all activist and the gay community. Some debunking you did there. Is that all the AIDS astablishment can come up with??

My partner was taking the AIDS drugs, and in the end died from the side-effects because he was in DENIAL that they could kill him after attending all those nice drug company sponsored community forums, where the drug companies pay doctors to make exaggerated claims about the benefit of their drugs while failing to mention the potentially deadly side-effects.

Helga, think about who you are calling denialists here. The line of thinking you follow CAUSED THE DEATH OF MY PARTNER! If anyone is in denial it is you, who labels people who oppose toxic drugs as nazis. The nazis were the ones who forced people to take experimental drugs against their will, and used propaganda to enforce corrupt agendas. How is that any different from what the drug companies who paid to put Bush in office, and their front groups (who call themselves AIDS organizations, but get most of their funding from drug companies) are doing? They are pushing these drugs on people with AIDS, lying and telling them they will face certain death if they don't take the drugs, and reaping great profits off of selling their toxic poisons to people they have scared into submission.

Please wake up from your denial and don't force me to be drugged with toxic poisons that killed my partner! Why can't I be free to make a choice not to take the AIDS drugs without being called a nazi?

I wonder how much pharmaceutical stock people like Tim Kingston and Helga own to make them push their drugging aggenda over allowing people to have a choice in their health care.

Oh honey nice series of insults and invective, pity you don’t do your research or even read the rest of the interview that gave a short history of me and my politics and political activity. Sigh. I take it that accepting the causality of HIV for AIDS is "defend[ing] the status quo." I presume that also means I am part of the "AIDS establishment." Well gosh someone forgot to give me my big pharma stock options! Perhaps you could tell me where to get them?
Just thought I would mention that I have never insisted anyone be jailed. But I am looking forward to the rest of the trial.
Kisses and sweet nothings, Tim Kingston
