Demand Congressional Inquiry of 9-11

The events of 9/11 shocked and horrified many people and plunged the U.S. into a "War on Terrorism" and a "War on Afghanistan" and perhaps an expanding "War upon many, many other countries." The media has not seriously questioned the U.S. government's assessment of "who was responsible," "why," or even "how," but has beat the drum for war and retaliation. Sober analysis and inquiries into the relationships between the "suspected terrorist group, Osama Bin Laden" and the Bush family, the CIA, Pakistani Intelligence, Saudi Intelligence have not been publicly explored.


We must raise these questions and issues, in public, in the media, with our elected representatives, and demand a full Congressional hearing.


I am compiling the most compelling evidence, articles, that I have been able to locate to present to my congresswoman, my senators, and the media. I urge you to do the same with your representatives, or to contact the media (email me if you want a media kit), or to support my efforts physically, especially if you live in Northern California.


On January 8th at 1:00pm, a delegation of people will meet with Senator Feinstein , it would be good to have a diverse group of people (limited to 10)- representing students, labor, faith based groups, peace organizations, business, perhaps even retired military of varying ages, ethnicity, gender- please contact me, if you would like to be part of the delegation- I need to fax names beforehand.


If a few hundred or thousands of people were to be demonstrating that afternoon against war, for truth, justice... it certainly wouldn't hurt to get the message across loud and clear to the world. We could meet at Justin Herman Plaza at noon and march right up Market Street to Feinstein's office at Post and Market, bring signs, leaflets, songs, creativity, enthusiasm...


The aftermath of 9/11 fits too clearly the agenda of transnational corporations (whose ruthless pursuit of profit includes terrorizing populations, waging war, pillaging the Earth's resources, oblivious to the suffering and damage to humanity and the biosphere upon which all Life depends.) A major power shift has occurred, democracy is threatened, civil and human rights everywhere are threatened; the power of police, militaries and corporations are being strengthened. China has joined the WTO; deals for pipelines to funnel the Caspian Sea oil to the growing markets of Asia are being struck. An informed US public was, and still is, the greatest threat to blatant corporate rule via the WTO, IMF, World Bank, UN, NATO dominated by the US and backed by US military power.


Our challenge is to penetrate the veils, expose the truth, separate the propaganda from reality, cast light upon the darkness.
