"The Root Causes of Terrorism" Vince Lavery at Fresno's Unitarian Church

Vincent Lavery, a leader in Fresno’s peace movement, drew on his Irish heritage when he addressed the Unitarian Universalist Church in a panel discussion of the root causes of, and holistic responses to, terrorism. One hundred fifty people attended the September 19th event which included seven panelists with expertise in psychology, religion, and other disciplines. The discussion focused on the lack of social justice in the third world and the need to remediate this as our nation responds to the events of September 11th.
