BERKLEY/ISO CSAW-why wont you put us on your list server?

by Santiago
After 6 weeks of trying to be put on the Berkely/ISO Stop the War Coaltion we don't know what to do
Hi since you wont return our emails, and since everytime someone asked where we could subscribe to a list server nobody from the Berkley/ISO organizing group would answer. Im asking you guys here since you read this board, im asking you to please tell me where my friends and I can go to be put on the list to get emails, also I would like copy of the notes from the entire conference, and also a copy of all the report backs, especially the one about the group that had problems with the structure of process. I really would like to read those notes. So please im asking you to help us and assist us in gaining acess to this information
If this is going to be a coalition and if you still want schools involved in this and you want it grow, you guys can't keep doing things in secret like this, it's wrong and alitnates so many of us.
My schools Demands
1) We want NOTES/MINUTES on entire Sunday day conference
2) we want NOTES/MINUTES on ALL the report backs
3) we want NOTES/MINUTES and contact information for each committe group that you guys set up
thank you for taking this into consideration

type is 'ucbstopthewar' under 'find group'. There should be one announcement list-serve that you can read the archive of w/o subscribing, and another discussion list that you have to subscribe to to have access to the archive. I'm not sure who is on the lists.

You actually have to do some work here and add YOURSELF to the list.

Building a peace movement means lifting fingers - not whining behind a computer.

regarding the last comment, we are doing lots of work here w/ the Muslim Student Union group, but we've been trying to get on this conference list server for weeks now, and apparenlty so have other people but we have been left out and so have others, it's like they don't want us to comment on what's going on and who is doing what, it's pretty fucked up. If i had known where to subscribe or if someone had answered all the million people who asked during the conference, or put it in their packet, we would not have had to post this message, we had to resort to this for a reason

souned like flakes, couldn't give info when face to face? very suspicious. So I continue reading this sfiimc and see:http://www.indybay.org/2001/11/109100.php
it seems clear now. And shows why imc works. And a few more words of rant. How many times honest work- reaching out, real WORK has been hijacked by ideology that can't muster backers on its own merrit, nor the force of character of its proponents!! It's not the first I hear this. Glad to see jerks are finally being outed and expulsed under the ignomy they well deserve. Solidarity doesn't mean being used! and abused! and undercut!

there i feel better

go to the website http://www.berkeleystopthewar.org.
look around for the link under contact info that says subscribe to the berkeley lists. they should all be there. the teachin group did most of the organizing, and there is a yahoo group called CSAWConferenceCommittee that is not linke to and largely unused but has files on it from the planning.
