A small “March for Human Rights and Peace” started at Dolores Park, wound through the Mission District, and ended back at Dolores Park with a rally. The rally program featured speakers and hip-hop artists standing up for Human Rights and Peace, including Boots Riley of the Coup and M1 of Dead Prez.

The event was organized with the following in mind:
Ensuring a future for our children does not require war and retaliation, but building human rights and peace, let’s march on October 27th to support:
- Peace, oppose war
- Universal Human Rights around the world and in the U.S.
- Civil liberties, oppose religious and racial bigotry and attacks
- Oppose all forms of terrorism
