Wear a costume, be creative, bring food, signs, whatever you wish to share, patience, humor. We can leaflet and listen… We will create a space for people to speak about their feelings about, thoughts of, the tragedy and the U.S.'s response. We will listen, and use appreciative inquiry- asking "How can we defuse terrorism?" "How can we make a safer, better world for our children, all children?" We will write down peoples feelings, thoughts, opinions, ideas, suggestions.
I'll be bringing the banner that says "One Earth, One People, One Love" a quote from Alice Walker and "One Air, One Water, One Hope, Respect All Life" -- We used this for the big demonstration for Peace in DC and San Francisco; I have sashes representing Earth, People, Love, Air Water, Hope for people to wear, especially if you wish to dress up to represent one of those elements (contact- Carol cbrouillet@igc.org, 857-0927 to coordinate).
Sponsored by the Peninsula Peace and Justice Center & Women's International League for Peace and Freedom
