I liked the lady I saw on the news last night (at the Oakland/Barbara Lee rally) who said something like "this indiscriminate bombing of civilians has to stop." What a jackass. It's obviously not indiscriminate. These people need to get the facts and live in reality. The US military is not over there just launching random bombs; they are carefully targeted. They may miss, or maybe the target includes civilians, but they are "indiscriminantly" bombing civilians. I like how Barbara Lee just says stuff like "We are urging the US government to seek an alternative way to bring these people to justice." It's interesting how everyone wants an alternative, but nobody ever offers one.

Dumbass. Of course our bombs are sophisticated and aimed at military targets. We're not levelling Kabul. If we wanted to do that, you'd see A LOT more bloody pictures put out by the Taliban about how cililians are just dying in droves. As it is, maybe a few hundred civilians who camped out near ammunition dumps or were just flat out unlucky will die. This is the price we pay.

Cluster bombs can not be targetted. Radiation from Depleted Uranium never goes away. Hundreds of civilians have already been killed by the bombing. Millions will starve to death as a result of the bombing. Terrorism will be incited as a result of the bombing.

What is my altrnative? To begin with: no bombing. Clear and simple. If you can't get that you can't get the rest.
