Peoples Bark News Berkeley - 10/1/02

by illegal alien
Publishing news and events that promote peace!
Peoples Bark News Readers;

This is an Enewsletter compiled and published by A First Amendment Center in Berkeley, Ca, You have to click on the URL to read the calendar at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PeoplesBarkNewsBerkeley

You can subscribe by sending an email to:

peoplesbarknewsberkeley-subscribe [at] yahoogroups.com

Although this appears to be a long email address, all you should
have to do is highlight it, hit ctrl-c and then open your email program and place your cursor on the to: line and hit ctrl-v

You should be suscribed fairly quickly.

This calendar includes articles and community events related
to peace. If you decide to subscribe, you might want to choose
to edit your membership so that you don't get the Enewsletter in
your email box but you can visit the website occasionally to see
what has been posted. i will try and see if there is a way that i
can just send out a notice to people when the Enewsletter has been published.

i tend to be posting the PBNB about twice per week now as there
are many items related to the present crisis.

i have decided to do try this approach as my Enewsletter tends to be
way too long and just clogs people's emails, so i hope this works better for everyone.

PLEASE send me SF Bay Area news/events that you would like posted
to: aliun [at] hotmail.com

i would like to add that there has been a cool new calendar added
that folks might like to check out to post your events. It's at:

http://www.peacenowfreedomnow.net

Also, of course, postings at http://www.craigslist.org/

are a good idea as well.

And, remember, the most important place of all, our own people's media at: http://www.sf.indymedia for San Francisco Bay Area news postings and http://www.indymedia.org to look for postings for other community news.

no peace without justice,
