The UC Berkeley Stop the War Coalition invites all campus based anti-war coalitions (or those interested in forming a campus based coalition) to come to an urgent meeting to start a network of campuses against war and racism. WHY:
1. At this crucial time in history, to discuss the possibility of a new anti-war movement and the direction it may take, as well as how that movement could best connect to existing movements.
2. To organize against the racist scapegoating that is happening against Arab, Muslim and all people of Middle Eastern background.
3. To discuss civil liberties abuses that are coming in the wake of Sept. 11 and how that affects grassroots organizing.
