The Terrorist Crisis calls for...
COMMON SENSE AND CAUTION

The recent bombing of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon was the most
horrendous act of terrorism the world has ever seen. Thousands are dead and
the damage to our economy is staggering and the costs are growing.

President Bush has declared war on terrorism to avenge this attack on
America. He\'s ordered U.S. military forces sent to the Mideast for the
invasion of Afghanistan to hunt down Osama Ben Laden, the leader of the
terrorist group al Qaeda suspected of the bombings to prevent more terrorist
attacks.

In this Crisis, perhaps what we need most is what Thomas Paine, one of our
foremost American Patriots, called Common Sense.

Common Sense and Caution must warn us that a massive invasion of Afghanistan
in an attempt to eliminate Osama Ben Laden has serious pitfalls. It could
backfire. Instead of preventing terrorism it could increase the danger of
another Terrorist Attack on America.

Israel has been at war with the Palestinian Arabs for years. They have the
best security in the world, and they retaliate to every terrorist attack by
killing terrorists and civilians. The use of superior military force has not
stopped these suicide-terrorist attacks in Israel. In fact, it has only
escalated the level of terrorism- and now it\'s spread to America with
devastating consequences. The level of Terrorism has grown infinitely more
dangerous than anything we could possibly imagine.

A military response is one thing, but President Bush wants to lead a
Military Crusade in the Mideast against Evil. Starting a Holy War in the
Mideast is not going to prevent Terrorism at home. It is surest way to
incite another Terrorist Bombing in America.

Common Sense and caution must warn us not to over-react in this crisis. We
must keep President Bush grounded. We must not allow the President to
retaliate with massive military intervention in Afghanistan and start a Holy
War in the Mideast that will only escalate the threat of Mideast Terrorism
here in America. The last thing on earth we need is another Terrorist
Bombing in America.

The flood of patriotic rhetoric and the preparations for the military
invasion of Afghanistan have already started to unite Mideast Muslim
extremists in a Jihad, a Holy War against Christians, Jews and Americans.

Only this time Arab militants may not retaliate by throwing rocks at
American tanks in the Mideast. This time they may wage a war of terrorism
here in American, where we are most vulnerable and where such terrorist
attacks have proven to be simple to implement, nearly impossible to stop,
and utterly devastating

Apparently, Osama Ben Laden\'s followers, some of them living here in
America, armed with box cutters, homemade knives, and
simulated-jet-airline-pilot training, hijacked four Jet Airliners and
successfully crash three of them into the Twin Towers of the World Trade
Center, and the Pentagon. This single attack killed over 6,000 innocent
people, completely destroyed the World Trade Center, damaged the Pentagon,
and inflicted horrendous financial losses.

The simple ways in which our vast technology in our open society can now be
used against us by terrorist like these Mideast-suicide bombers (and Timothy
McVeighs) with such absolutely devastating consequences must make us
cautious! This was the most successful and the most devastating terrorist
attack the world has ever seen, and the last thing on earth we need is
another Terrorist Bombing in America.

These suicide-terrorist attacks are more undetectable, unpreventable and
unstoppable in America than they are in Israel. Our government did not
prevent this Terrorist Attack, our government cannot prevent terrorist
events in the future no matter how much security the government imposes on
the American people, or how many wars they start in the Mideast.

If America wins the war against Afghanistan and kills this Osama Ben Laden,
will it prevent terrorism in America, or will it destabilize the Mideast and
very likely bring a plague of Mideast Terrorism home to America?

Common Sense and Caution must warn that this massive invasion of Afghanistan
may be the single most dangerous and self-destructive action the America
government has ever undertaken. Nothing on earth could put the American
public at greater risk for more terrorist attacks here in America than a
Holy War in the Mideast against Evil, and the last thing on earth we need is
another Terrorist Bombing in America.

Call to stop Terrorism in America

If you and your family don\'t want to be victims in another terrorist attack,
if you don\'t want to see thousands of Americas killed in another terrorist
attack, and if you don\'t want to live in constant fear of another terrorist
attack that could collapse our already severely damaged stock market and
economy and plunge us into a DEPRESSION, please join us in calling for
President Bush to scale back this American Military Crusade in the Mideast
against Evil, because the last thing on earth we need is another Terrorist
Bombing in America.
