Rally & March to Stop the War, to defend the Arab-American, Middle Eastern, and Muslim communities against racist scapegoating, and to defend civil liberties.
More than 5,000 rallied at UC Berkeley’s Sproul Plaza, March through campus and downtown Berkeley. March ended with another rally, this time in front of the Daily Cal office on lower Sproul Plaza, to protest the publishing of a racist cartoon by the newspaper: http://www.indybay.org/display.php?id=104486
