MENDOCINO WALKS FOR PEACE

On Saturday September 15 members of the Mendocino community gathered across from the post office to show their support for peaceful resolutions to the current world turmoil. We walked down Little Lake to Lansing St up Main and back around again while singing "All we are saying is give peace a chance." All aroung town spectators cheered waved smiled and gave us thumbs up.Don't believe those CNN polls, Mendocino and the rest of the US and the world support peace. Intelligent people use discussion and dialogue to resolve conflict. Take your own poll and report the results here. I am certain that the majority wants peace and knows it can only be aceived peacefully.

Another peace walk is planned for Sunday September 23 at 12noon. Gather in the courtyard between Gallery Bookstore and Articles.
