Signs/Flyers Available In Berkeley
Inkworks in Berkeley has printed two window signs and a flyer opposing war in response to the WTC/Pentagon attacks. Come get them.
Sign 1: "Justice, Not Vengeance -- Let us not become the evil that we deplore"
Sign 2: "No Racist Attack -- Hate-Free Zone"
The flyer has the complete text of Barbara Lee's speech opposing the war powers Congress has authorized. They are available for free, although Inkworks is asking for donations from those who can afford them. They're asking people simply to show up & get them at 2827 7th St. in Berkeley (btwn Heinz & Grayson). Buses 72 & 73 go up & down San Pablo Ave. (about 4 blocks east of 7th St.), the 6 goes along Ashby Ave (several blocks south of Heinz), & I think there's a bus that does down Dwight Way (a few blocks north of Grayson). They're 'officially' open until 5 pm but often stay open 'til 5:30 or 6. They're at 510/845-7111 but have asked people not to call unless it's important.
