Approx. 250 people filled a UC Berkeley classroom - and part of the hallway - for the first organizing meeting of the Anti-War Coalition.
The Anti-War Coalition’s “Three Points of Unity”:
1. Stop the War.
2. Stop Racist Scapegoating - Defend Arab, Muslim and Middle Eastern Communities.
3. Defend Civil Liberties.
The Anti-War Coalition is currently organizing for local participation in The National Day of Action taking place on Thursday, September 20th, 2001.
